-Chapter two-
I know I over reacted, like majorly but I'm a girl, it's what we are meant to do. I had not need to panic, at least not until I found out he was in my science, math and English classes.
I walked in to English on monday, after a weekend of realizing nothing was wrong and there he was. Bam. In my seat, next to the window, stealing my morning sun. No one has sat there since I claimed it first day term one. And there he sat.
I slowly walked over to him I'm sure if I walk over and explain the situation he will move, especially considering my female charm.
"Um... Excuse me... Your in my seat," I started.
"Your excused," was the only response he gave me that good for nothing prick.
"Can you please move, I would really appreciate it," I calmly asked.
"And I would appreciate you walking away so I can get a better view of your ass but we can't always has what we want,"
I lost it.
"WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE! I WAS JUST ASKING IF YOU WOULD MIND SWAPPING SEATS YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE SUCH A PRICK!"
"Miss carter! Detention!" Mr. Crakenell yelled from the front of the room, "now get sit down."
I made my way to the back and sat down as Ryan muffled a laugh.
"Mr. James you can accompany miss. Carter to detention."
That shut him up. Great not only do I have detention but the comedian is going to be the to.
I zoned out as mr. Crakenell droned on about the Importance of literature. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. Brrrrinnnng. That's the bell as I rushed out the door the teacher shoved a pice of paper at me ordering me to detention after school. Great. I quickly made my way to the music room and dumped my stuff. I was out in the back room again. There is a two seater purple couch, an upright piano and several guitars in here. This was my favorite room, other that the sound proof recording studio.
I have been learning to play guitar I'm not very good and can only play one song but I try anyway, after all practice makes perfect.
I picked up and strummed as I sang only exception by parramore.
A. E. d.
When I was younger a I saw my daddy cry and curse at the wind.
A. E. d.
He broke his own heart and I watched as he tried to re-assemble it.
A. E. d.
And my momma swore she would never let herself forget.
A. E. d.
And that was the day that I promised I'd never sing of love if it does not exist.
I sang and played (badly) until all the anger left my body and I was left with just me and the music. The music pulsed through me as I emptied my lungs of air. The word the, melody the music just flowed from my body and I couldn't stop even if I wanted to. This is the feeling I crave, the sensation of me and the music.
As I finished the song I was on a high. I put the guitar away and put my iPhone on speaker and proceeded to sing which ever song came on.
Forty minutes later and I'm sneaking out the back door to the canteen to buy my lunch. As i passed the window to the main room I saw Ryan sitting inside with a guitar. Now I'm back where I started only difference is that he not only knows my best kept secret but he also hates me.
