Episode 8 - Epiphany

PREVIOUSLY ON THE NEXT STEP

"Then who would you date?" he asks, his eyes full of hope.

"I think we both know the answer to that" I said ambiguously. "If only he had the guts to ask"

OZZY'S POV

10:00 PM

"IIIIIITS MOVIE TIME!" Noah chanted. Everyone gathered around a tv that was wheeled into studio A. All snuggled up in our pj's and blankets, Noah put the movie on and we began to watch. Bella was sitting next to me, sharing a blanket between us. I turn to see Jacquie curled up with Noah, I really want to hold Bella like that.

*TIME SKIP*

We were about half way through the movie, everyone started to doze off. I looked to Bella, who turned to me, and I indicated with my head to follow me and we went into studio 1. I play a song and put my phone down, grab Bella and start slow dancing in the middle of the studio. This is perfect. She lent in closer and shivered into my chest.

"You cold?" I asked.

"No.." she said, as she shivered once more. I laughed slightly before removing my jacket and giving it to her.

"There, we don't want that pretty face getting cold now do we?" I say, tucking a single hair behind her ear. Our faces draw closer and closer together, its now or never, I place a gentle kiss on her lips. It didn't last very long, but it was beautiful. We parted from each other and a smile grew on Bella's face.

"Took you long enough" she says, making us both laugh. I kissed her one more time, this one lasting a bit longer.

"Come on, let's get back to the movie" she said, grabbing my hand and taking me back. We walk back into the studio, sit back down and Bella lays her head on my shoulders. Perfect.

11:30

We were sitting around the tv, some of us still paying attention to the movie. Amy and Piper were sitting beside each other, Henry was asleep on Kingston's shoulder who was still awake. Noah and Jacquie were lying down asleep, Kenzie and Finn were chatting to each other leaving Summer and Richelle to be scrolling on their phones occasionally looking up at the screen. Bella was laying on my shoulder with my arm around her, no one seemed to notice when we returned. She was dozing in and out of sleep, trying to watch the movie.

"You tired?" I asked.

"A little, but I don't want to sleep yet" she replied.

"Why not?" I questioned.

"Cause I don't want this night to end" she said with a giggle.

"I hate to be annoying, but I need to go to the bathroom. I will be right back" I said, she nods and replied before I stood up and quietly headed to the bathroom. On my way out of the bathroom, I bump into Finn.

"Hey dude, I saw you and Bella were cuddling up. You guys together?" he asks.

"Hey uh no, we're just friends" I replied. I think we're friends, I guess we really never talked about it.

"Oh sorry, just from what it looked like, you guys really suit each other" he said, before going to the bathroom. I quickly exit, returning to see Bella curled up under the blanket.

"Bella... bella" I say, slightly shaking her.

"Mmm yeah?"

"You fell asleep" I said with a giggle.

"No... I'm awake" she said half asleep.

"So you know, when we kissed. What did it mean for you?" I asked her. I really need to know where we stand.
