It's been about three months since Maya and Miles last saw each other and it's the first day of school. Miles is still in love with Maya and Maya says she isn't but, she's just in denial.
It's was the first day.
Miles walked in with Winston.
"Umm... Your not nervous about seeing Maya are you?"
"Why would I be nervous?"
"Because she's right behind you.."
Miles turns around and looks at Maya.
She looks different. Her hairs longer, straight, and she has pink highlights, she was wearing skinny jeans and a leather jacket.
Miles smiled.
"She...she looks amazing."
"Don't drool.." Winston says sarcastically.
It was first period.
Miles walked in and sat with Winston. Zig and Tiny run into the classroom laughing running from Maya.
"Where the hell is he?!" Maya yells
Zig jumps up laughing so hard his face turns red.
"Uh what's going on?" Miles asks
Maya looks at Miles and rolls her eyes.
"Zig just give it back.. please." Maya asks.
"Fine. What's in it anyways."
"Nothing." Maya replies
It was just a song book.
"Good morning class and welcome back. All right, I know it the first day but we're going to be reading Romeo and Juliet so everyone pick a partner for your project.
Miles looked a Maya and smiled then looked down.
Everyone gets up.
"Hey" Miles says to Maya
"Hi Miles." Maya smiles "Do you want to be partners or are you going to stare at me.."
They laugh.
"Yeah. Yeah I would like that."
