Anastasia is a French born pure blood, although her mother is French she is still very well known in the wizarding world as the Avery family, hence the middle name.
her father is was very much English, he was also part of the richest and most respected families in the wizarding world, the alexander family.
from her mother she inherited the ability to change her appearance, she does not do this often because she likes the way she looks but being a Metamorphmagi has its advantages, she can turn into whoever she wants all she has to do is think about it.
from her father she inherited the ability to control the elements. she can also talk to dragons but that skill will remain dormant until the age of 21, she can also use wandless and non verbal magic effortlessly, its just like walking and talking for her.
she is also an Animagus but didn't inherit this, this is a trait of her own, she can turn into a phoenix.
