∆A little while later∆

Tanjiro had changed out of his demon slayer outfit and changed into a long shirt, pants, and an apron. Tanjiro smiled as he continued rolling some rice into balls. Tanjiro looked over to his side to see his little sister helping wrap the cooling rice balls in dried seaweed. Nezuko was humming a lullaby their parents used to sing.

Tanjiro stopped smiling as he remembered the day his parents and the rest of his family died. He remembered the overwhelming smell of blood, the sight of blood everywhere, and his little sister sobbing into his chest.

Tanjiro had unknowingly started crying and had dropped the ball of rice in his hand. Nezuko stopped humming and looked at Tanjiro. worried, She pulled her older brother into a gentle hug. Tanjiro snapped out of his trance and hugged his sister back reassuring her he was okay. After about a minute of hugging, Tanjiro stopped hugging his sister, whipped his tears and smiled. "I'm alright Nezuko..! But, um.. could you go see what Zenitsu and Inosuke would like to eat with their rice balls..?" Tanjiro asked his little sister. Nezuko looked her smiling brother. "Alright... But Onii-Chan, if anything's wrong you can talk to me or anyone else here about it..." Nezuko spoke sounding worried. "I'll keep that in mind" Tanjiro replied. Nezuko nodded and walked out of the kitchen and back into the living room. Tanjiro looked down at the rice and wet his hands with water before grabbing a small amount of rice and rolling it into a ball. Tanjiro sighed as he looked back at the boys who where rough housing like always and Nezuko trying to ask them what they wanted with their rice balls. 'I wonder how I'll be able to get into contact with Giyuu.... Maybe ask my crow to send him a message?' Tanjiro thought as he made a few more rice balls. Tanjiro shrugged and started wrapping the rice balls in dried seaweed. Nezuko came back with a smile. "They both want meat buns" Nezuko chuckled a bit. Tanjiro nodded and went to his fridge and pulled out a pack of thawed pork.

∆A little while later∆

Tanjiro picked up two plates of food and brought them to the table where Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke where sitting. Tanjiro put down the plates of food and almost immediately Inosuke started digging into his food. Nezuko closed her eyes and prayed before eating and so did everyone else. Inosuke and Tanjiro finished their food first. Inosuke stayed at the table to chat with Zenitsu and Nezuko. Tanjiro didn't stay, he excused himself from the table and went outside to see his crow flying towards him. "Caw, caw! Demon invading a village! Go to the _____________ Village!" The crow spoke as he flew closer to Tanjiro. Tanjiro ran back inside told everyone he was going to be gone on a mission for a bit, got back on his Demon slayer outfit and went back out. Tanjiro quickly followed the crow. The crow lead him to a small village which was in panic. Tanjiro rushed as many people to safety as he could. Tanjiro saw a demon holding a young woman who was screaming. Tanjiro also saw Giyuu to the demon's left. Tanjiro drew his sword quickly and took a deep breath in before charging at the demon. Giyuu also charged at the demon, luckily the demon didn't sense him and kept his focus on Tanjiro. As Tanjiro got close to the demon, Giyuu cut off it's head. Tanjiro quickly put his sword away and grabbed the girl who had passed out from being scarred and put her against a wall carefully. Tanjiro watched the demon fall and slowly disintegrate. Tanjiro walked over to Giyuu after the demon had disintegrated. Tanjiro had a nervous smile on his face. "N-nice job Giyuu..!" Tanjiro rubbed the back of his neck as he spoke. Giyuu looked as calm as ever. "Thanks..." Giyuu spoke calmly and didn't say much. Tanjiro felt very akward. "So... Uh, G-Giyuu... Do you remember me..?" Tanjiro asked as he tried not to look him in the eye. Giyuu didn't say anything for a minute. "You're Tanjiro Kamado... You're the person I was working with..." Giyuu said as he stepped a bit closer to Tanjiro, observing his body language. "S-so... You do remember me.... Are you mad at me..?' Tanjiro wouldn't look Giyuu in the eye and was fiddling with his hands. "No...." Giyuu kept looking at the very nervous Tanjiro. "You're not...? I'm glad..! I thought you would've hated me for leaving without a word..." Tanjiro finally looked Giyuu in the eye. Giyuu smiled a bit which made Tanjiro's heart flutter. 'stupid heart... Stop making me feel this way!' Tanjiro thought to himself as he blushed a bit.
