La Belle Et La Bete

This is technically the French title for Beauty and the Beast, but that's not what I associate it with. Is this relevant to the cover? No. Did I just randomly remember this and think it was amusing? Yes. And now you must suffer through this. Or, you know, skip to the last paragraph.

So, I've taken four years of French because three were a requirement, and by the time I had met that, I put too much effort into it to back out, so I just kept going. Useless language learning aside, my first year of French, my teacher put a bunch of famous fairy tale book titles on the board in French, and we had to run up and translate them. Of course, she was asking a bunch of 6th graders with like a half of a year's experience in French to do this, so obviously it went horribly. The guy that went up to translate La Belle et la Bete to English ended up putting it as The Pretty and the Stupid, which sounds like a weird rom-com that would probably star Adam Sandler.

Long story short, it became an inside joke in our class, and it's now what we all call Beauty and the Beast. I'm sorry, I don't know why I'm telling anyone this, but it's happened, and there's no going back now.
