Hagrid's Welcome

You peek through the side and see a silhouette of a man, He's big and hairy? He walks in and you can see him clearer, he was quite big, he looked almost like a bear, Holding an umbrella? You look at harry. "Sorry about that" He says as he picks up the door. " I demand that you leave at once! you are breaking and entering!" says Vernon in a scared high pitched voice. "Dry up Dursley you big prune." The man says as he twist the tip of the shotgun up. Vernon shoots a bullet causing Harry and I to jump back." Boy, I haven't seen since you were a baby Harry, Where is your sister?" He asks Dudley. "I-I'm not Harry, And I-I don't have a sister" says Dudley stuttering. "I-I'm Harry" Says Harry in a bit of a whisper. "And I'm Hayley" You say. "Well of course you are, got something for you, afraid I might have sat on it but I imagine it will taste fine just the same. " he says. He reaches for something, he pulls out a box and hands you the box. You open it and show it to Harry. "T-thank you" says Harry. "That's very thoughtful of you" you say sincerely. "Well, its not everyday your twins turn eleven" he says happily. He plops down on the couch, he pulls out his umbrella, and two orbs of fire fly out. You and Harry look at each other then back at the fire place. Harry puts down the cake, "Excuse me.. Who are you?" asks Harry. "Rubeus Hagrid, keeper of keys and grounds at Hogwarts, Of course you guys know all about Hogwarts." He answers. "Sorry, No" you say apologetically. "No? Blimey, twins, you ever wonder where your parents learned it all?" he says questioning you. "Learned what?" you ask. "You're wizards Potters." "We're what?" Harry asks confused and shocked. "Wizards, and thumping good wizards." he says truthfully. "No, t-there must be a mistake, I mean we cant be wizards, We're just, Harry and Hayley, just Harry and Hayley!" Says Harry in a doubtful tone. "Well just Harry and Hayley, Have you ever made anything happen?, anything you couldn't explain when you were angry, scared?" asks Hagrid. You and Harry stare at him with your eyes screaming "yes!" He raises his eyebrows as if saying "see?". He hands you your letter and hands Harry his. "Dear Ms. Potter , we are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted  at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." you read. "They will not be going I tell you!" says Vernon running over to us. "We swore when we took him in we'd put a stop to all this rubbish!" says Vernon. "You knew?!" says Harry angrily. "You knew all along and you never told us?!" screams Harry.

 "Of course we knew, How could you not be, my 'perfect' sister being who she was, My mother and father were so proud the day she got her letter, we have a witch in the family! Isn't it wonderful? I was the only one that saw her for what she was, a freak!, And then she met that Pottah, Then she had you two and I knew you two would be the same, just as strange, Abnormal, and then if you please, she went and got herself blown up! And we got landed with you two." she says in anger and tears, "Blown up?! You told us our parents died in a car crash!" you say angrily. "A car crash? A car crash killed Lilly and James Potter?!" says Hagrid in disbelief. We were so busy arguing we didn't notice Dudley grab our cake. "That's an outrage! A scandal!" Yelled Hagrid. "They will not be going!" says Vernon. "I suppose a great muggle like you is gonna do something to stop it?" Says Hagrid. "Muggle?" asks Harry. "A non magic folk" says Hagrid. You and Harry look at each other and shrug, you guys start giggling. "These twins have had their names down since they were born!" Yells Hagrid. Still, Nobody had noticed Dudley eating our cake yet. "They will be in one of the finest schools of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the world, And he will be under the finest head master that Hogwarts has ever seen, Albus Dumbledore." I will not pay to have some crackhead fool teach them magic tricks!" Screams Vernon. You lay your head on Harry's shoulder and he wraps his hand around you. Hagrid pulls out his umbrella, "Never insult Albus Dumbledore in front of me." says Hagrid sternly. Hagrid finally sees Dudley eating our cake. With the flick of his umbrella Dudley grows a mouse tail. Vernon and Petunia start panicking and Dudley starts screaming. You and Harry look at each other and laugh. They run upstairs screaming and panicking. "Oh I'd appreciate if you didn't tell anyone at Hogwarts about that, I'm not aloud to do magic" whispers Hagrid. "Okay" says Harry. Hagrid checks his pocket watch. "Whoop we are a bit behind schedule, Best to be off. ' says Hagrid. He walks to the door and tries to open it but it falls over. "Unless you'd rather stay of course." He says looking back at you. You and Harry look over at each other , you both nod and grab your jackets. You follow Hagrid out.
