(The image is unrelated I just wanted to put it there)
It was your first week at the inn and you had seen this woman at least 3 times. She had long blonde hair that was slightly wavy, pointy ears, and golden eyes. She looked like a typical high elf. She caught your attention due to her... unique behavior. She'd come in, ask for a bottle of wine, drink it all, and then start sobbing. Neither of you had made any conversation other then her ordering a drink. Today she sat in a corner table. She waved you over and asked for a bottle of wine as she usually did. You headed down to the basement to get her drink. After grabbing the bottle for her you handed it over to her. "Here you go, Miss...?" You said, trying to finally get her name. After a few seconds of awkward silence she said "Xilocent. Nivara Xilocent." You smiled, "Nice to know your name. I'm (y/n) (l/n)" you sat down across from her. She tensed up, seemed to calm down and mumbled something like, "I'm act leaf" which made no sense to you. She uncorked the bottle and drank straight from it, it really didn't matter to her because she wasn't planning on sharing. "Um,, what was that you said?" You asked her. "It isn't related to you." She glared at you for a second before her expression softened, "It was just about one of my old friends." She admitted. "Old friends? What to you mean by 'old'?" You asked her, trying to understand who Nivara was and why she was here so often. "Well," she started, refusing to look at you,"he's dead" you could see her eyes start to water again, like the times before. She quickly wiped her eyes. You felt bad for bringing it up, "sorry" you said. She looked down and back at you, "Do you mind if I rant for a minute?" She asked. "Go off." You answered, and with that she began to speak, "He wasn't just my friend. I loved him. He told me he loved me. Gods, humans. They don't live very long. I get 700 years of suffering. Most of my cr- friends are dead as well. I miss them all." She broke down, starting to sob, "it's all so overwhelming. They're all dead." She rested her head in her arms on the table. You pat her head to try to comfort her. You got of your seat and hugged Nivara and she mumbled a thanks.
(Well, I hope that was good, I tried my best)
