01

It has been 2 years since me and Kenma first moved in together. Though we have had our share of fights, we always made up in the end. Today me and Kenma are going to move into a new apartment which is closer to our college. Right now we are on our way to the furniture store when I spotted something out the car window.

"KENMA! LOOK!" Kenma hit the brakes as hard as he could and looked over. When he looked over what he saw was a big bulletin board in big letters is stated, "2 for 1 mini cakes".

"Can we PLEASE get some!" I begged Kenma.

"No, we need to go get some furniture."

"AFTER!" I asked giving Kenma the puppy dog eyes I knew he couldn't resist.

"If we have enough money"

"YAY!" 

We went back to driving and headed to the furniture store. Once we parked in our spot Kenma and I got out of the car and I grabbed his hand and held it till we got inside. I looked around at all the cool furniture items that was there. I let go of Kenma's hand and sprinted off to the lamps, which is what we needed most. I looked at all the BORING lamps and sighed. Kenma caught up to me and started looking around to, I could tell that Kenma didn't really like any of the lamps either. I walked to the back of the isle and saw it. The perfect lamp.

"KENMA! Can we get this one!" I held out a lamp that on the outside had a nice starry night print on it and had stars on the lamp shade. Kenma looked at the lamp, then back at me.

"Why do you want a starry night time lamp?" I thought back to when me and Kenma had our first date.

~Flashback~

I walked forward carefully since I had a blindfold on. Kenma was holding my hand and guiding me to our first official date. I have no clue where we are going, but as long as I am with Kenma I will be fine.

"Ok you can take the blindfold off now" Kenma said letting go of my hand. I quickly removed the blindfold eager to see what was infront of me. In front of me I saw a beautiful picnic set out underneath a starry night sky.

"Oh my god, Kenma. This is beautiful.." I ran up and gave Kenma a big hug.

"(B/F/N) told me that your dream date was a picnic under the stars, so I made your dream date real." Kenma said hugging me back.

~End of flashback~

After I reminded Kenma of our first date I could see the blush that rose to his cheeks.

"So? Can we get it please Kenma" I asked holding out the lamp.

"Don't you remember what else happened that night...."

~Flashback~

It has been about an hour and me and Kenma have just been sitting here watching the night sky. It was all perfect, I couldn't imagine this date going any better. Splash! I felt something wet drip onto my head. I looked up and saw that it was starting to rain.

"Oh no, I am so sorry (Y/N). Here take my jacket and go ahead and go in that dinner and wait for me there." Kenma handed me his jacket and started to clean up.

~End of flashback~

I looked at Kenma as he seemed to be embarrassed by the date. I gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"But after the rain we had a blast! Remember?"

~Flashback~

"No! I want to help you to Kenma! It's not fair that you have to do all the work and I just sit back and watch!" I said to Kenma while starting to pick up the food basket.

"Fine but if you get sick then it isn't my fault" Kenma responded picking up the soaking wet blanket.

~Pause flashback~

"Cleaning up and getting soaked doesn't sound fun"

"Let me finish!"

~Resume flashback~

We ran to the car and got it.

"I am sorry, I totally forgot to check the weather tonight." Kenma said embarrassed that our first date hadn't gone the best.

"Well the night isn't over just yet! Let's go back to the apartment and just watch some movies and eat some popcorn!" I gave Kenma a kiss on the cheek. He looked up and smiled at me, then started up the car and we headed back to our apartment.

Once we got back to the apartment we changed into our pajama's and I made a bag of popcorn. We looked on Netflix for some movies to watch and ended up watching a full season of my little pony.(mlp is bomb ok......)

I could barely keep my eyes opened as me and Kenma finished up the last episode. I layed my head on Kenma's chest and closed my eyes.

~End of Flashback~

"Oh yeah I remember." 

"See! We had a great time!"

"You made me watch my little pony..."

"I'm sorry, but my little pony is a beautiful and heartfelt show about best friends who will never give up!" I said putting the lamp down for a second and putting my hands on my hips.

"Ok, ok. Plus you fell asleep and left me to watch my little pony by myself.."

"You could've changed it if you really wanted to!"

"No, because you put the remote really far away and you fell asleep on me so I couldn't change it"

"Whatever, I know you liked watching my little pony"

"Back to the lamps"

"Can we please get this lamp!" I grabbed the starry lamp and held it out.

"Fine, I guess"

"Yay! Thank you!" I ran up and hugged Kenma and we walked up to the checkout and paid for the lamp.

Once we got home we put our lamp in our living room next to our couch.

"Do you like it (Y/N)?" Kenma put his arm around my shoulder as we looked at our now furnished living room.

"I think it really pulls the room together" I said hugging him. I looked up and smiled at him, I felt a familiar pair of lips meet mine as Kenma kissed me, and I kissed back.
