In this world, you are completely unable to physically hurt your soulmate until your first kiss. You could shoot them in the head, the bullet would only stop mid-air without ever grazing the other. Because of those seemingly superhuman abilities, a divergent group of scientists are attempting to isolate the gene responsible for this immunity in order to make soldiers invulnerable. After years of research, the first-ever super resistant soldier is ready for battle. He was able to clear the entire enemy trenches in a single afternoon. Only problem was, he wasn't able to kill the very last soldier, as his bullets would fall mid-air and his knife broke as soon as it made contact with her skin.
