Mike and Will have been best friends since kindergarten which was way longer than they've been friends with the rest of the party. Will had came out as gay but never told anyone he had a crush on Mike. Eleven had just came back from hiding with Hopper and Mike only cares about her. Will is still having his episodes with noone around to help him. His mom is always at work, Lucas and Max are always together, Dustins always trying to get in contact with Suzie, Mike and Eleven always making out, and Johnthans always doing something with Nancy.
