PURPLE POTION
word count: 1, 025
CQ: would you rather spend the summer with the Malfoy's or with the Dursley's?
CQA: malfoy's :)

You wake up in Ron's arms, yesterday was so exhausting. He's fast asleep, shirtless and in his pajama pants. You check your watch on the nightstand and it reads 7:24 a.m.— good! You can help Mrs. Weasley with breakfast now.
You slip out of Ron's arms as carefully as possible and head to the bathroom to wash up. It's still a bit odd to sleep in the same bed with him, even if you two have had a thing for each other for so long. You splash some water on your face and dry your hair a bit more.
Last night, you showered after quidditch and assumed you and Ron would get experimental but, the poor baby was way too nervous to do anything more than kiss you. You weren't complaining because it shows that he's comfortable with you when he can openly say that he doesn't think he's comfortable going any further.
You take a comb and brush through your hair, twisting the ends with your fingers. You seriously needed to get your hands on some Sleekeazy's Hair Potion to style your hair better. You settle with your hair just being wet because it would eventually dry later. You brush your teeth and go back to Ron's to grab some clothes. You decide on a black skirt and a deep purple sweater, adding your button up underneath.

"Good morning Mrs. Weasley."  You say, walking into the kitchen and grabbing your apron.

"Morning dear! Welcome back to the kitchen, we've missed you."  She says, smiling.

"I know, I've been sleeping in! But, I woke up early today and I'm ready to cook or bake or whatever you need me to do."  You tell her.

"Okay, you get started on the sausage and go on and make any desert you'd like. I believe, last time I checked, some berries had bloomed and some are ready now." She tells you, nodding slightly towards the garden.

"Brilliant, I'll go and see what I can work with." You say, heading to the garden.

It's a beautiful day out and you can tell it has so much potential. You find some blueberries and raspberries to your just decide to make wild berry bread. You grab a small basket full and head on inside. Little do you know, George was watching you that whole time.

-

It's quite hard for George to just keep away from you and pretend nothing ever happened. Well, he makes it seem so easy because often times he has Fred to fill in any parts of his sentences. George honestly regrets just letting you leave but, he thinks it was better seeing how happy you've made Ron.
George had also made it very, very clear to you in your first year that you were far too young for him to take interest in but, that was before puberty hit. After, he slowly took interest again and that's when the two of you began to date (or talk for a better idea) in secret. It was never really in secret because of course Fred had to know. George knows that somewhere deep down he still has feelings for you and admires you but, he can't get in the way of his little brothers new relationship. Especially seeing how Ron would speak about you.
Whenever Ron talks about you, his eyes seem to just fill with love. His whole mood will get better and it's as if your a drug the way he acts. George knew from the beginning Ron would like you. He knew that he either had to take you for himself or that was it, he didn't ask you to be his girlfriend because Ron developed very serious feelings for you your second year there.

"Breakfast is great guys!" Harry says taking a bite of berry bread and a swig of milk.

"Thanks." You say, eating a bit of your sausage.

Breakfast is filled with laughs and food being spit. After, Ginny pulls you up to her room quickly.

"Ginny, what's all the rush? I didn't even get to clean the dishes yet." You say as she closes her bedroom door.

"Never mind the dishes, mum can get them. I thought we could—" She pauses as if she were trying to think of something to say, "have girl time! Maybe talk about crushes or, actually never mind you're dating my brother." She says.

"Why do I feel like someone put you up to this? What are you hiding Ginny Weasley?" You say, standing up off her bed.

"Nothing! Nothing, I am an angel." Ginny says suspiciously.

"I don't know how much of that I believe but, okay. So, tell me, what do you guys usually do here all summer? Is this how it usually is?" You ask her.

"Honestly, no. Well, yes in a way. Normally breakfast isn't as much food as it is now because no one helps mum in the kitchen and we don't do as much activities or anything. This summer has definitely been much more fun." She admits.

There's a knock on the door and a look of relief comes across Ginny's face. The twins walk in and have a smug look on their faces.

"Hello y/n, Ginny." Fred says.

"Mind if we borrow y/n?" George asks.

"We promise to bring her back." Fred says.

Ginny nods and George offers you a hand. They lead you to their room and tell you to sit on the bed.

"So, we created a new potion and we were thinking of selling it in the shop." George starts.

"We were wondering if you'd test it out for us?" Fred asks.

"Sure, what's it do?" You ask.

"Slow down,"

"We were just about to tell you."

"It changes your eye color, that's all." Fred says smiling.

He offers you some of the potion, it's dark purple. You take it in your hand.

"What color will it make my eyes?" You ask.

"Any color you think of." They say at the same time.

You shrug and take some, then the world goes black.
