Kuroko has moved to many schools as a child, but after they died, he had to find a way to live on his own. So, he moved to Crown Lake Road. Where Crown Lake High was. He was never noticed, until one day he was practicing basketball in the courts when a boy walked up to him.

Kuroko: u-umm who are you exactly?
???: oh how rude of me.. I'm Jay.
Kuroko: that seems American
Jay: well I was born in America but we moved here shortly after. Anyways what position do you usually play?
Kuroko: it's kind of a mix (he says with his straight face)
Jay: Oh really... well I am gonna have to beat you
-I'm no sports maniac and have no idea how to describe a game so like.... just pretend Kuroko and him had a fairly good match.
Jay: (breathing heavily) woah you're really good
Kuroko: e-eh oh.. thanks I guess (he says while scratching the back of his neck with a cute smile)
*Jay's thoughts* Hmmm he's kind of cute now that I think about it... Stop thinking about him like that... that's weird
BACK TO AUTHOR POV:
Kuroko walked over to the bench and took his bag, before walking out he looked back at Jay and said..
Kuroko: Hope to see you again (he said with the biggest smile in the world.)
After the encounter with Jay, they have been hanging out a lot since then. Until, Jay started to notice his feelings for Kuroko were different than any other friends. Kuroko too, has had mixed feelings being close to him. Then, after a month Jay finally asked him out! They were dating for about a year, and believe me it was like true love.

KUROKO POV:
*Jay should be coming any time soon from his part time job! * I though as I was waiting on the bed. I couldn't wait to give him the ring I got him for our anniversary. It's finally one year since we've been dating! I ordered a ring for me and him so that we'd never be separated. I soon hear a knock on the door. I ran happily over and opened it to find...
... Jay coming home with a girl in his arms while kissing...
AUTHOR POV:
Jay made eye contact with Kuroko before pushing passed him into their bedroom with the girl. Kuroko just stood there not knowing what to do... after a few seconds tears started dropping, not able to stop. He put the ring on the table packed some of his stuff and left. He left town without a word to anyone.
