Manners Maketh Man,
How to define a gentleman.
He has no need for shining armor,
A white steed and elaborate serenades,
Complex charades, luxury or splendor,
When his natural charm alone persuades.
A man of his word, with class and manners,
Who can shake a cocktail like no other,
And find the right words when it matters,
He awakens feelings you can't smother.
A little classic charm is all it takes,
A crisp suit or uniform worn the right way,
And that look that tells you he makes no mistakes,
Never falters, no matter the day.
He is a sight for sore eyes,
An ideal we wish was more widespread,
Enamored with suits and ties,
Looking devilishly good when accessorized with red.
A traveler from a time long forgotten,
A time of virtue, acting anything but shady,
Impressively polite, anything but rotten,
He will always make you feel like a lady.
