Prologue

I laid on the umbel in a large field of lush grass, leaf and fruit abundant trees, and colorful flowers. None of the guys were in sight from where I was as the beautiful valley seemed to stretch onwards to forever. A pleasant aroma flowed through the area as the gentle breeze washed over me bringing petals and leaves with it. 'It's so soothing here.' I thought as I noticed my pure white and silk dress that had small ruffles, a ribbon on my waist, and a faux shiny rose on the right side of my chest. I decided to walk around as the soft grass tickled my feet. 'Where am I? It seems familiar...' Then, I heard children voices coming towards me.

"Come on! She's gotta be here!" I looked at the hill and saw hauntingly familiar kids running towards me. One boy and three girls. They stared at me for a few seconds and then hugged me at the same time knocking me down. They were all crying into my clothes except for the boy who was holding them in.

"Wow, its been so long sis." said the boy choked up. 'Wait a minute, sis? It can't be..!' A tear slid down my face as I realized who these kids were. They were my siblings. They were either dead or missing, but I didn't care. They were alive that moment, so I could be happy at that time. More tears slid down my face as they continued to hug me. 'I'm sorry, but God,' I thought hesitantly. 'Let me enjoy this just for now. I'll find the Black Foxes later.' I instantly felt my body shrink to the size I used to be when I was eight. My loved ones were there with me. A sweet darkness came over me as I closed my eyes and lost to sleep. 'Thank you... You guys are still out there somewhere, aren't you? You're still alive?' Sweet, optimistic thoughts swarmed my mind in a honeyed voice as a picture of my fiancee Riki flashed in my mind along with the others.

I woke up with a start to find myself in a large test tube kind of thing filled with chemicals. I wore a white hospital gown and a medical needle taped to my arm attatched to a thin tube connected to the outside of where I was. A tear slipped out of my eye, but no water fled out of it because I was already in liquid. This was reality, and it was not nice to me. I still hadn't found my siblings, and my lover had been taken away from me. Shadows continued to blotch out my eyesight as the needle stuck in my arm withdrew and inserted chemicals. 'Riki,' I thought tearfully. 'Please save me.'
