I was already awake and dressed for college even though it started at 7:30 A.M.  Seiko had already left and made miso soup for breakfast.  I started warming up the soup when I heard a loud noise of something falling.

"Ouch!"  It was Masako.  I ran out of the kitchen and saw Masako on her stomach trying to get up.  "Stupid last step..."

"Are you okay?!" I asked.  She glanced up tiredly at me and nodded her head as she grabbed a nearby table to help her get up.  When she stood up, I noticed that a few of her upper buttons were unbuttoned showing her black bra.  I smirked.

"What?" she asked.  She looked down at her chest and blushed furiously covering her chest with her arms.

"Wow, you're bustier than I thought Masako!" I said laughing.  She threw a slipper at me and ran to the bathroom.  I got ready a bowl of miso soup for her as she returned from the bathroom, her top completely closed.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" she asked her face still red.

"Aw man, I thought you were gonna keep your top like that!" I said pretending to pout causing her to take the bowl of miso soup and drain it all in a few gulps so she didn't have to face me.  She grabbed her bag full of books, her electronics, and her pencils and left the house waving me goodbye.  'Heh funny girl...'  I headed off to college leaving a note for Masako just in case she came home earlier than I did.

       Dear Masako,

I left the key under the rug just in case you got home before me.  See yah soon!

                                      From Hiro

I taped the note on a flower pot next to the door so she could see it and left happily.

I floated in that terrible glass tube for hours until a group of scientists came into the room examining me.  They took notes and talked while I stood there in a never ending sadness.  'What I'd give to see Riki and the others again.'  I felt teary and choked up but no sound or tears came out.  Just small bubbles.  A scientist with glasses and slicked back hair stared at me smiling.  He then turned around and turned on the large TV that hung about fifty feet away from me.  An image of Riki walking around in the rainy streets of Tokyo sadly hanging his head.  He entered his workplace and went directly into the empty hallway in which the right wall was a window and the other was marble.  He punched the glass and cracked it causing his hand to bleed.  He leaned against the glass as blood rolled down his wrist.

"Where are you dammit?!  I can't take it anymore!" he yelled brokenly as a single tear rolled down his face.  I covered my mouth with my hands as tears filled my eyes again.  He looked at his ring and kneeled down on all fours in defeat.  My ring had been taken away from me and so was my necklace.  'Riki... Riki...'  Then, a sudden pain shot through my body as another needle was inserted into my thigh.  The quick agony made my body paralyzed.  I started floating downwards as black filled my eyesight.  The only thing different about this shot from the others was that I wasn't going to wake up from it for a while.

             Masako July 26 2:23 P.M.

I sat in the library quietly skimming through the books I needed to study with.  I had already picked out about five books and three newspapers to read.  Finally, after choosing seven books and six newspapers, I sat down at a table and began to read and take notes while sipping on some coffee.  Then, a manicured hand grabbed my textbook.  I looked up and saw the three girls that regularly annoyed me.  They were twenty three years old while I was twenty.  I had gotten an early application when I had just turned eighteen while they got to pay for theirs since they were rich like a bunch of people at this college.  The one holding my book was of course, the leader of their clique.  I sighed and set down my pencil and coffee.
