hide and seek (hisoka x illumi)

chapter five: date?

Illumis pov:

I take out my cellphone and look at myself in the camera and observe my face
"What is it?~"
Hisoka says in his usual playful tone, even after that encounter he still cant take anything seriously.
"My eyes, they're red and puffy."
"Well yes my dear, that is usually a side effect of crying~"
Hm..I see..
"Is it now? I haven't cried since the age of 7 so I wouldn't know."
"That's uh, a little uhm..what's the word~"
Hisoka says thinking
"What ever do you mean."
I say with slight confusion
"Oh nothing, I just find it a bit odd is all, but knowing your history with your family I'm not surprised~"
I just look away from hisoka, what right does he of all people have to call me "odd", I dont think hes ever looked in a mirror.
"So you're telling me that you cry frequently? Seeing that from you is extremely difficult to imagine."
"Well I wouldn't say "frequently" but I have cried quite a few times since I was 7~"

Hisokas pov:

Silence drifted through the air, illumi was never a big talker so it was always up to me to start conversations, he wasn't a very big "people person".
"Well good news for you illu dear~ I think your face looks absolutely adorable like that ^^"
"Excuse me?"
"I said you looked absolutely adorable~"
I say as I twirl illumis long hair around my finger, illumi looks away not seeming to care about my comment, it's quite difficult to rile him up.
"*sigh* you're no fun~."
"I am an assassin, I do not require to be fun."
Illumi glares up at me seeming to be slightly annoyed, so basically the usual~ it was entertaining to push him and see how far he could go, once I even made him flip out and it was hysterical! Ahh..I spend so much time thinking of illu, hmmm how peculiar..I've never spent so much time and effort on some one other then myself
"I have a wonderful idea illu dear~"
"Since when do you call me "illu dear"."
"Since now!~"
Once again, I receive a cold glare from illumi
"How about i take you on a date, hmm?~"
"What is a "date"."
"When two people hang out with each other, expect its romantic~ they typically go out for dinner. That would be the most common thing people do on a date ^^"
Illumi looks at me slightly confused
"And why would I go on this with you."
"Well are we not a couple?~"
"No."
Well then -_-
"You wound me illu dear~"
I say with a frown
"..fine. for now I will consider us a couple or else you'll start being difficult"
"You say that as if I'm a child~."
"You aren't far off from one."
What?? Who knew illumi could be so mean, yes of course hes cold but who knew he had it in him to insult me like that
"That's not very professional of you illu~"

Illumis pov:

I stay silent, this imature man child is already irritating me. And he wants to go on a "romantic date" as a couple? I sigh, I dont even think our relationship is professional anymore, its difficult to call it that with someone like hisoka in the picture.
"When will we have this date."
"Hmm, I will pick you up tonight!~ that gives you enough time to get ready"
I nod in agreement
"Till tonight my dear~"
Hisoka kisses me on the forehead and disappears into the trees of the forest, this will be my first date ever..this feeling i have..is it excitment?
