The Kingdom of Panamalandia

Queen Sylvia opened her jaws as she was about to make a snappy remark, but closed them immediately when she saw the creature enter.

It was a tiny dragon. But she had fur and looked almost like a kitten!

Her fur was grimy and blackened, and her eyes drooped sadly. She limped halfway down the hall until she collapsed. Queen Sylvia's head reared back and her eyes flashed lightning yellow with alarm(All dragon queens had color-changing eyes that shifted with their mood). Queen Sylvia leapt up, sending gemstones flying down from her throne. She padded along the hallway; she didn't run not because she wasn't worried, but she was so big that she could easily walk along the hall in a matter of seconds. Once she reached the dragon(kitten?), she saw a small pair of webbed wings on her back.

Queen Sylvia called for some maids to attend to her immediately. After washing the cat-dragon's fur, they discovered that her fur was hazel, and had silver tinges that shined slightly in the lit hallway.

"What is your name, young kitten?" A maid by the name of Skyler asked. The kitten merely shook her head and clenched her small jaws. Sylvia's eyes glinted a subtle gray of unease as she switched the pressure on each of her limbs nervously. The maids revealed wounds in the kitten's flesh that oozed greenish blood. They tended to the wounds at once, cleaning them and wrapping them magically with pale white bandage strips. After the treatments, the kitten just nodded her head, curled into a tiny ball of fuzz, and fell asleep.

The kitten awoke to the huge face of Queen Sylvia staring down at her. She gave out a shriek and leaped up from her sleeping figure, and to her pain, ripped some bandages as she did so.

"Hush, child. No need to be troubled. I'm here to help you." Queen Sylvia said, her voice calming and gentle. The cat-dragon froze, staring at the queen with stunning white and vaguely blue eyes. Queen Sylvia found herself growing happier when she stared into her eyes, yet she couldn't place why.

"Now, if I remember, you owe me a name." Queen Sylvia said, stroking the kitten's fur with a gentle claw.

The kitten ducked her head. "I have not been given the privilege of a name." She mewed, her voice small and high-pitched. Queen Sylvia looked the cat-dragon up and down.

"I'm sorry to hear that," The queen sighed. "Maybe once you recover you may tell me of your past." She added hopefully.

        "I will, Your Highness."

        "Call me Sylvia."

The kitten smiled. Queen Sylvia felt a warmth bubbling up in her heart as her eyes turned a rarely shown shade of lilac. Queen Sylvia bowed her head gently against the kitten and they both fell asleep with content smiles on their faces.
