Beomgyu loitered, waiting for Yeonjun to appear. A few days went by with no sign of his supposed gift Yeonjun would give. He began to become irritated with his lies. He stood up from his desk, stretching his arms. He was reviewing some papers all day about nonsense companies.  Is this my life every day? Looking at papers that have no importance to me? I

He sighed, seeing the broken window of his room, air escaping into space—the damn window.  He hadn't let his father hire anyone to fix it yet; he wanted to see this gift Yeonjun promised.  It's been days without seeing him, Beomgyu decided to ask for himself. He walked down the stairs feeling the cold metal railing along the way. He slid his shoes on and exited out into the cold air.

When he reached the house, he noticed a guard sleeping outside on the porch.  He lightly kicked his shin bone with his foot making the guard startled. "Ah! Sorry. What do you need?"
"Is Yeonjun here?"
"Yes. I'll ring him." The guard holds his radio up, relaying the message to the butler inside.

"Send him inside." The Butler's voice rang as he opened the door to allow Beomgyu inside from the cold. "He's in his office upstairs." Beomgyu slowly walked up the stairs and toward the slightly ajar door.  Sounds of heavy sighs were coming from Yeonjun as he had his hands in his hair, looking stressed. Beomgyu opened the door with the sound making Yeonjun lookup.
"What're you doing?" Beomgyu asked with a curious appearance plastered to his face as he stepped inside.

"You're here? I'm determining whether I should agree to some proposals." Yeonjun flipped through the papers.
"Proposals of?" Beomgyu slowly made his way over beside him, glancing at the papers. "Marriage."
"What? You're getting married?" Beomgyu says with his mouth slightly left open upon hearing the sudden topic.  "Why? It's typical amongst companies these days; you might even obtain them soon..." Yeonjun laughed.

"I see." Beomgyu held his head down for a second before making a quick departure out of the room, his feet leaving no reluctance as he walked out. The door was slammed behind him, leaving Yeonjun only confused even more than he had been.  Beomgyu walked down the stairs straight out of the house, ignoring the guards. "Have a nice day." No, he wasn't having a good day.

He walked back inside his own home, slamming the door to his room in frustration as he kneeled to the floor with his hands on his head.  Why am I so upset? Why do I care so much?
Beomgyu stood back up, taking a deep breath to calm his nerves; his hands were trembling from resentment and anxiety.  He felt as if he couldn't keep his body still for a second; he wanted to run.

He ran down the stairs out of the house, not knowing where his feet were going to take him. He ran and ran for minutes that turned into twenty. He ran through the sand under his shoes toward the ocean, tumbling in the process near the sea's shore.  His hands are landing in the moist sand, sand sticking to his fingers now as he held his head down.
Why do I care? Why do I feel so angry?

He held his head down as he felt tears wanting to escape his eyes. He closed them tightly to stifle his tears from falling. Footsteps were heard through the warm sand coming from behind him, "Beomgyu." Yeonjun's voice rang through his ears as it echoed.

What is he doing here? Can I not go without seeing or thinking of you?! Beomgyu felt his grip around the sand tighten, clumps in both hands. "What're you doing?" Yeonjun asked, looking at the silent boy.

"Go Away!" Beomgyu stood up with the clump of wet sand in his hand, hurling it directly at Yeonjun's neck.  Yeonjun winced upon the impact, and the sand fell, some sticking on his clothes.
"What are you-" Beomgyu threw the other hand open, the sand flying toward him as Yeonjun held his hands up over his face.

"I don't want to see you! Go away! Go away, I said!" Beomgyu reached down the pick up more wet sand, but Yeonjun quickly grabbed his wrist, preventing him.
"What's wrong with you?!" Yeonjun gazed into both his eyes as Beomgyu caught his breath. He felt a fire burning through his veins as if his blood was boiling like water.
"Go away!" Beomgyu thrashed, so his arm came to loose from Yeonjun's grip. Beomgyu pushed Yeonjun to the side as he walked through the sand angrily.
