Ok so Betty is sent to a mental hospital because Veronica her best friend accidentally fell out of their apartment building it wasn't that high but she is in a coma. Veronicas parents blame it on Betty even know she didn't do it. Veronica has a boyfriend Archibald Andrew also known as Archie Andrews, Betty has a crush on him as soon as she saw him but there is this boy at the mental hospital that keeps staring at her. Then Betty gets a new roommate her name is Cheryl she's her because she was bulimic so a E.D (eating disorder). She learns a lot about her and why she's here and her girlfriend Toni Topaz, she was okay with a lesbian roommate she didn't mind that at all but she was worried for her she was a singer and had a audition for a university of performance but probably won't get out in time for her audition. So back to the boy he keeps staring at her and finally she asked him what his name was..
