Despite all the bad things that happened last year, i know this year will be different. New school, new people, new friends everything will work in my favor or so i thought.
"Why'd I have to be there at 8:30am" the regret sat on me, whiles I contemplate on whether I should actually go or just skip. I can't escape this either way, so i might as well suck it up . After 10 minutes of sulking in my current state i decided that going wouldn't be so bad, because graduating and moving away from this dreadful town are the top two things on my bucket list.
I was feeling myself, so I throw my braids up in a high bun and left a braid out front just to add to the look. A croptop, ripped jeans with fishnet stockings underneath and boots are the outfit of the day. I decide to call a uber, because I'm still avoiding my mom after her brilliant decision to have me move. "She'll just bring my stuff later on today" I guess as I walk out of the place I once called home. Since I lived about an 1 hour away I actually made it right in time even though it took 20 minutes for me to get ready. I came out of the uber and begin to make my way to the office, being new senior year is such a pain in the ass. But atleast it'll be better than my last school I hope.I pushed open the double doors and not even a second later the loud echoing bell sound roar throughout the entire place. "This bell is definitely louder than the one at Crestview" I said as I made my way through. I got bewildered looks and afew chortle chuckles as i walked through. The confident girl that I walk in here as was so tempted to disintegrate as I took in the neat plaid uniform the students had on. The girl have on a white button down shirt , a navy blue plaid skirt that stops just above the knees, socks and shoes, whiles the boys wear a white button down shirt, necktie, navy blue pants and shoes.
"Just my luck isn't it" I comment on this joke call 'my life'."You look like a new face. Are you?"
Came from beside me as a slander girl whose voice was extremely high pitched came in sight. As i took her in, her full brown eyes, carmel skin and full hair was quite easy on the eyes, but compliments aren' t my thing so I just answer her question."Sure it isn't because I'm the only one who isn't in a uniform?" I say sarcastically. And the little voice in my head begi@n to voice its opinion. Since she's actually talking to us and you haven't manage to actually messed this up yet ,let's just ask where's the office. "Umm, Yeah I am. Do you know where the main office is?" I ask changing my tone of voice.
"So erratic, but it's down the hall, first left, last door, its big and red not too hard to miss." She said as she starts walking away backwards.
Choosing to ignore the first part of her statement, I repeat the directions over and over so I wouldn't forget.
"Down the hall, first left, last doo- what the fuck. Just ...eww." I mutter.
His left hand is in her unbotton shirt, and the right one is up against the locker holding up his weight. Her tongue is down his throat, they swap saliva without so much as a care in the world,
grouping ....in the fricking hallway. I blink with pure disgust before i speak up."The hallways isn't big enough for all of this.. um, extra stuff" I state with my little hand motion to help in this awkward moment.
Like honestly, this hallway on the left is the size of a single door.
I'll just assume that they both don't care because they both gave me a side eye and continue. At this point, I'm getting annoyed because one, don't have a uniform on, two, I'm lost and three I'm late. With more authority in my voice I speak up.
"Bruh can you move outta my fucking way!" bet I have their attention now.He stood to his full height which is surprisingly tall, maybe about 6'4. The sudden change of the ambience made my regret speaking up, but I know better than to show it.
