I needed someone, Hayes was the first person who came into my mind.
"What's wrong" he asked me, he sounded worried though.
"My mom" I said crying into his arms I didn't care who was watching me, "she didn't came home from work yesterday, my bio dad who is a psycho came home, he wanted to start over, but-but we hate him, Ryder and I think he did something to mom." I said sobbing
"I'm pretty sure she's fine" He told me rubbing my tears away, I think I'm starting to have feelings for him.
"If you want we can go look for her" he offered,
"Would you do that?" I asked with a smile open for him
"I would do anything for you"
"Thank you!" I said as I hugged him, I felt so safe, one of the best hugs of my life.
•3 hours later•
I'm at home Hayes and I gave up on looking for mom, we knew she was coming back, we simply didn't knew when.
I heard the main door trying to be opened, I got up from the couch slowly, quietly. I looked through the little window and it was mom! I opened the door quickly and gave her a hug, "Omg mom! Where have you been I was worried to death" I said stepping back, "It is a really long story, and I really don't feel like talking about it," I was shocked she looked exhausted to be honest "Maybe I will tell you later, ok honey?" That made me feel a little bit better now "okay mom" I said as she walked upstairs to take a shower I believe.

I decided to tell Hayes mom was back, I wanted to tell him because when I dropped him off he looked worried, it was honestly cute that he worried about me and my family. I didn't take my car just because I don't feel like driving and he doesn't live that far. When I finally get to his house I knock the door, but of course Nash has to come in the way, "Can I help you again?" He said joking around, "Yeah, can you call Hayes again?" I asked nicely, trying to hide my annoyance "why?" He asked "Just freaking call him!" I said loudly, by this time Hayes heard me so he was here, "Hey, what's up? What happened?" Ok let me just tell you he was asleep and his hair was all messed up, it was so cute. "My mom came home!" I said going to him giving him a hug, "Are you kidding? That's great" he said and gave me a hug.

Today was the homecoming day,
I have been getting ready, I am so excited but nervous, I think I have a slight small crush on Hayes, ok it's pretty big.. I love the dress that I have, in fact it's gorgeous. So I'm going for; black heels, curly hair, smokey eyes, and black nails, and black bow. I'm really almost done getting ready and I get a text from Hayes:
Hayes😝: Hey, I'm on my way to your house, are you almost done?
me: Yes, I basically ready just one more little thing.
Hayes😝: Ok tell me when you're ready.
Me: I'm ready
5 seconds later I hear a ring bell, it's the door bell. My mom opens and gives Hayes a hug. I go to my room and grab the flower thingy to put in his jacket thingy (Ok guys I'm really bad w/ this things) Before I go down those stairs I look up the ceiling take a deep breath and let myself calm down. I go down the stairs and see my mom and Hayes talking, they both stand up and my stepdad offers me a hand, I take it and go hug Hayes. My little sister came running from the kitchen, she looked so cute in that flower dress, like always had a wide smile, "Are you two like prince and princess?" It made me smile, "No Hope, we're not" I said kindly laughing, she left embarrassed. I put the thingy and struggle to put it in his jacket thingy. And of course my mom wants us to have a little "photoshoot" and I mean they're memories, so I don't argue. After the "photoshoot" we leave to Homecoming. we arrive and the day is like perfect, Hayes decided to park in front of this aisle thingy (sorry I keep saying thingy) and it makes it perfect. There's also this perfect sunset; it has like all this pastel colors, all blended together, and it's perfect. Anyways we walk our way down the aisle into the school and we just go into the auditorium we're the Homecoming was being held.

It's been maybe an hour or two since we arrived I've talked to Summer and Hannah and we talked for a bit. A slow song came along, lights were softer, it was perfect, and Hayes asked for a dance with me "Sure," I said getting up "I'd love to." I said walking to the dancing area. We slow danced and Hayes, he seemed nervous though, he was going to pull a question... "Hey, Ashley?" He asked "Yeah?"....
