"What!" I exclaimed as if I was shocked.
Now in Ch. 2
Ruby's P.O.V.
'How should I continue and try to follow the same timeline as before?' I thought as I saw Ozpin stand up.
"Why don't you come with me?" Ozpin said as he held his hand out to help me off the bed.
"Alright!" I said as I grabbed his hand and got off the bed.
He lead me down the halls of Beacon Academy that I knew all too well. We came to the elevator that can go up to his office but when we got inside he pressed a button that needed his hand print to go to the bottom floor. I mean I have never been down there before but I still know the general idea. As the elevator doors opened, all I saw was a big hall and at the end was the machine with the fall maiden in it.
"Who is that and where are we?" I asked as I pretended to be shocked that this place was down here.
"That is the original Fall maiden from before she was attacked by the woman you encountered today ." Ozpin said as he turned back to me.
"But why are we here and why are you showing me her?" I asked as I took a step back.
"You are here because you did not get the full capacity of the fall maidens powers from the woman you encountered and the last of that power is in this woman." Ozpin said as he pointed to the woman in the machine.
'Maybe I can get the last of the fall maidens power if I play along.' I thought as I walked up to the machine and put my hand on the glass.
"What can I do??" I asked as I looked back at him.
"This machine is all that's keeping her alive and if you step in the other than we can transfer the rest of the fall maidens power to you." Ozpin said as he looked to the other machine.
"What," I gasped as I pretended to look shocked. "will happen to me then."
"Her aura will go to you and give you her powers that she possess." Ozpin said as he went to the other machine and opened it up.
"Will it help her?" I asked as if I was clueless.
"It will but nothing in the way you think!" Ozpin replied as waited for my reply.
"What will happen to me?" I asked as I slowly took a step towards the open machine.
"You aura will combine with hers and her life will become yours." Ozpin said as he held his hand out for mine.
"Okay." I said as I took his hand and slowly stepped into the machine.
"Just stay calm!" Ozpin said as he began to close the door.
'This shouldn't hurt right?' I thought as I saw Ozpin walk to the middle to start the machine.
"I need to make sure that you agree with this?" Ozpin asked as he put his hand on the glass.
I nodded my head saying yes but felt like that's not what he wanted.
"I need to hear you say it!" Ozpin said as I put my hand to his with the glass separating us.
