I held out my hand and felt drops of cold water hitting my skin. My arm immediately covered Y/n's head, who's walking next to me, "looks like it's about to rain soon."

She followed my gaze to the grey sky above and hummed in agreement, "You have any umbrella?"

"I was about to ask you the same thing," I grinned and patted her head.

Y/n puffed her cheeks and sighed. I bit my lower lip in adoration to that cute habit. After a good year of relationship, I still couldn't get used to it yet.

"Then we better find a shelter, looks like it's about to pour hard," she said, "how about that bus stop?"

I haven't even answered but she had already pulled my hand and led me to the stop, so we waited there for a little while before the bus finally came.

We stepped into the bus and found a spot at the back. Y/n sat next to the window, while I took the spot next to her. Soon, the bus finally drove again.

"Hey, C/n," her little voice called out.

"Yes baby?" I looked to my right and found her pointing at the window. My eyes followed her finger and saw that it was raining already.

"I'm glad we got into the bus sooner," she sighed in relief, "or else we'd probably catch a cold now."

"Yeah, me too," we giggled quietly. My hand reached out to wrap her hand in mine, but once I touched it, I immediately noticed how cold she was.

"Y/n, is it too cold?" I was pretty worried since she couldn't really handle cold temperatures. Moreover, it was raining outside and there weren't a lot of people in the bus, which explained the chilly atmosphere.

Y/n nodded her head, "A little."

My head shot up to the AC above. I reached out, about to turn it off when a better idea struck me. Should I try one of those moves from k-dramas?

"Here, wear this, it'll keep you warm," I said as I took off my jacket instead and wrapped it around her, "I'd just worn the jacket so it should keep you warm."

I watched her tiny figure in my oversized jacket. Gosh, she looked so adorable with my sleeve hanging loose like that. Y/n curled her hand into a paw, gripping onto the sleeve tighter like a kitten. If only we weren't in a bus, I'd already tackle her onto the bed and kiss her.

My gaze then slithered down to her lap. I wanted to lie there, staring up at her, while she played with my hair. Laughing and chit chatting about everything. Her magical touches would probably send me to sleep straight away and--

"C/n? Um, hello?" Y/n waved a hand in front of me, breaking my thoughts.

"Huh? Oh, what is it?," I blinked in surprise.

"I said thanks for the jacket."

"Oh, that, yeah no problem," I nervously smiled and shook my head to get rid of those silly daydreams. Good thing Y/n couldn't mind read, or else her face would be as red as a tomato right now.

"So, what were you daydreaming about?" she asked with a smirk on her face.

Okay, I didn't expect that question.

But seeing her like this, made me want to play for a little bit. So, step one to make a girl melt, be honest.

"Well, I was thinking about how cute you are in my jacket," I gave her a smirk in return. I watched as her ears started to turn red.

"W-what? N-no, C/n, just tell me the truth already."

"I just did! I was thinking about you," I wrapped an arm around her and scooted closer.

I looked down and saw that Y/n was giggling for a bit before covering her face with the sleeves, "No stop, I'm shy," she muffled through the fabric.

I chuckled at that act and hugged her even closer, "Why do you have to be so cute?"

She looked up with those doe eyes and spoke, "really? Am I cute?"

My heart was about to burst at that moment. Oh, she clearly knew she's cute, she knew it was my weakness. Alright Y/n, you know the answer.

"You know you are," I kissed her forehead and rested my head on hers. Y/n hugged me back and leaned on my shoulder.  I sighed and closed my eyes, enjoying the comfort and warmth each of us gave despite the cold.

Time went by and I actually like this. Just the two of us riding the bus while it's cold and raining outside, the warm yellow street lights passing outside, blurred by the water drops on the window. All I could hear was Y/n's soft breathing and the sprinkling rain outside. It might sound silly, but it's like we're in our own little world.

I cuddled closer to Y/n, occasionally opening my eyes to check on her, tucking strands of hair behind her ear which fell on her face and ending up missing our stop that evening.
