Chapter 2

   I ran at the library. Napatingin yung mga estudyante saakin. My eyes are in red. Lumabas silang lahat. I looked for the book that my dad wrote. Then , I sat and read my favorite lines. 

     ‘’ Darkness does not always equate to evil , just as light does not always bring good.‘’

     My Dad wrote this book when my mother died after she saved me. A stupid person was about to stab me with a knife. But , my mom pushed me and.. I never knew that , that was the last time I can see her smiling at me. And said these lines.  ‘’ It’s not a loss.  No matter what happens , you’ll always be my angel. Promise me , you’ll take care of Xandrex. Be a good princess to daddy okay? I love you ‘’

  She slowly closed her eyes.I saw a tear , drop from her eye. I hugged her and kiss her on the forehead. And then I whispered ‘’ I love you too ‘’ From that day , my heart turned into a stone. My life turned into hell. My soul turned into a demon. I won’t stop looking for that person. The person who killed my mom. I don’t care who is he. 

    After a year , my dad died because of a heart attack. He got sick when my mom died. That’s my story. It’s filled with shit. And I’m the bitch. I wiped my tears. Then someone sat beside me. 

  ‘’ You’re a tough person ,I know ‘’ napalingon ako. This guy again. The one who forced me from hitting Felix. I think he’s one of the Wolfgang. I think.

‘’ If you’re one of the Wolfgang. Please , go now. I have no time for your shits ‘’ sagot ko.

‘’ I’m not one of them. And I won’t be. ‘’ sagot niya. 

‘’ Then if you’re not. Why did you forced me from hitting Felix? ‘’ I asked. 

‘’When you care about someone , you’ll do everything to stop her from getting hurt ‘’  sagot niya. Tumayo na siya at naglakad palabas ng library. 

‘’ Who are you? ‘’ tanong ko. Pero hindi na siya sumagot at umalis na. Umalis na ako at pumunta na sa territory. 

‘’ Are you alright Xyfer? ‘’ tanong ni Jackie Brick ng World of Black. Kapag wala kami sa labas , hindi na nila ako tinatawag na Death Queen. 

‘’ I hate them bringing back the pain. The shits that happened in our lives. ‘’ sabi ni Stephen Hilson ng Devil Sins. 

‘’I know. That pain make us weak. But , let’s try to make it as our strength.’’ paliwanag ko sa kanila.    

‘’ No more dramas , I’ll sing for you guys then. ‘’ sabi ni Ken na may hawak na gitara. 

    Umupo kami sa sahig , tumabi naman saakin si Xandrex. Gumawa kami ng bilog , tapos sa gitna si Ken. I never heard Ken sing.

‘’ My mind is a warrior , my heart is a foreigner. My eyes is the color of red like a sunset….. ‘’ Wew. He has a nice voice. I looked in his eyes. Those brown eyes , pink lips and gorgeous smile. He looked at me. And he’s like trying to say is. ‘’ Don’t be sad , you’re with me. We’re with you. ‘’ I smiled at him. 

Before we sleep , kinausap ko muna si Xandrex. That’s my brother. Of course. I still care. 

‘’ Hey. ‘’ bati ko sakanya. 

‘’ Oh , Hi Xyfer. ‘’ sagot niya. 

‘’ Kamusta? Matagal na kitang hindi nakakakwentuhan ah ‘’ sabi ko sakanya.

‘’ I’m fine. So , kamusta na pala yung hunting dun sa pumatay kay mommy? ‘’ tanong niya. We’re hunting the person who killed my mom. But , we’re having a hard time ‘cause we don’t have too much connection. 

‘’ Hindi pa siya nahahanap pero I believe that someday we can have our revenge’’ I smiled at him.

    Dahil gabi na natulog na kami. Pero , nagising ako para  mag – rest room. Pagkalabas ko galing sa C.R. nakita kong gising din si Ken. Nilapitan ko siya. Nakita ko siyang nanginginig.

‘’ Oh Ken , gising ka pa? At bakit ka nanginginig?‘’ tanong ko sakanya. 

‘’ I’m scared. I dreamt about dad again. I saw him… ‘’ 

‘’ Ssshh… It’s a dream. ‘’ I hugged him. Tightly.

‘’ Don’t leave me , Xyfer. Please , don’t ‘’ nanginginig niyang sabi. 

‘’ I won’t ‘’ tipid kong sabi. 

  Ken’s father died because of suicidal. Ken’s father saw his mother having an affair with someone. Then , Ken just saw his father.. with a rope in his neck… Every one of us , had different stories. And those stories didn’t ended good.
