"Please help me!" Gui was kneeling in front of a hut deep in the woods.

"Who are you?" Solo was shocked to see a young boy panting at the door step.

"Gui!" That was the last word he uttered before passing out.

"Gui? Are you okay?" Solo was scared and tried to shake the boy awake but he didn't succeed.

Solo slowly carried him into his hut and laid him down onto his cot. He checked his temperature which was beyond that of normal temperature but he couldn't trust his judgment. He almost burned his skin with his warmth.

His skin was as cold as ice. He fished out a thermometer from his travel bag to check his temperature. It was 39 degrees Celsius.

The beauty was sleeping peacefully on his cot while he paced around the room with confusion in his eyes.

"Solo! How are you?" A man dressed in black was at the door.

"A boy fainted here!" Solo stated.

"You bit him?"

"No!"

"Then?"

"He is running a fever!"

"Just take a wet cloth and rub his face with it. Once the temperature is down to what you can handle, hold his face to lower his temperature."

"Ok, thank you! Go before anyone notices you."

"Yes, I will go! How are you though?" Worry was evident in the eyes of the stranger.

"I am doing fine!"

"I hope so too!" The man walked away after catching his white lie.

"Sorry!" Solo whispered to himself.

He walked towards Gui and followed the man's instructions which helped to bring down his temperature.

He was holding his face in his hand. His hands on either sides of his face, caressing his cheeks softly.

His eyes fluttered open, staring into his red ones. They stared at each other for a very long time. Solo was mesmerized by Gui's blue eyes. Their eyes shared stories, long stories of their past and future.

"Your eyes!" Gui whispered softly.

"They are red!" Solo whispered back.

"Red!" He said neither of them daring to stop their gaze.

"I am a vampire!"

"A vampire?"

"Yes!"

"I love your eyes!"

"Really? They are red!"

"I know but I love them!"

"Why?"

"I really don't know but they attract me!"

"Aren't they scary?"

"No!"

"Am I not scary?"

"Should I be scared of you?"

"Normally, humans are scared of me!"

"Why?"

"I can drink your blood!"

"I don't mind feeding you a bit!"

"You could die!"

"You can be careful while drinking to not kill me!"

"I can be careless!"

"You aren't a careless person!"

"What makes you think so?"

"You were very careful while handling me!"

"Was I?"

"You were!"

"Do you trust me?"

"Yes!"

"Why?"

"Something tells me to trust you!"

"Your instincts?"

"Maybe!"

"Who are you?"

"Gui!"

"I know! But are you a human?"

"Do I look like a vampire?"

"No!"

"I guess you have your answer!"

"Then why aren't you scared of me?"

"Why should I be scared of you?"

"I am a vampire!"

"So what?"

"Are we going to repeat our entire conversation?"

"Not interested!"

"You aren't very well yet! Sleep some more!"

"I am healthy enough now!" Gui sat up on the bed facing Solo.

"Please rest some more!"

"Why do you want me to sleep now? Want to bite me while I sleep?"

"I am controlling myself! Don't waver it!"

"What is your food source?"

"Animal blood!"

"So you don't kill anyone?"

"I don't!"

"You aren't tempted to drink anyone's blood?"

"I wasn't!"

"Are you tempted now?"

"Yes! Kind of!"

"Who is the culprit?"

"You!"

"Me?"

"Yes! You came crashing down and wavered my control!"

"Does this have any meaning?"

"Nothing that you need to know!"

"That's mean of you!"

"I don't care! Tell me, why were you here in the woods?"

"I came to pluck the Rainwish flower!"

"Why?"

"I have a wish to ask for!"

"But that blooms only once in 200 years!"

"I know that and it blooms 20 flowers in that year!"

"But only the worthy can see it!"

"I know that but I need to try to get it!"

"What wish do you have?"

"Something that you can't fulfill!"

"I can fulfill your wish!"

"It doesn't matter to you!"

"Tell me!"

"It's a secret!"

"What secret?"

"Don't force me to tell!"

"Ok, now rest up!"

"What about you?"

"I will for a run!"

"But!"

"Nothing will happen! I will be outside."

"Thank you!"

"Sleep well!"

Saying so Solo rushed out to calm his wildly beating heart.

"He is my mate!" Solo whispered to himself.
