Chapter 15

Chap 15~ Dream's Diary

You walked into the school, Dream's Diary in hand. You already read some of the pages, mostly about him talking about all of the good times him and his brother wer having, but other than that there wasn't really anything else. Granted you had only read 10 pages and there are still a bunch to look through, you still couldn't find anything about Nightmare turning bad.

Heading into Mr.Dreams class, you saw the skeleton teacher writing today's lesson on the board, along with how many days you have left before the attack.

4 More Days

You sat down at your desk and continued reading Dreams Diary.

The Diary was just getting good when the bell rang.

The day passed by and you were in Mr.Ink's class now. The room looked the same as it always did, however, the visual aid was in the corner of the room along with some scattered papers on the desk at the back of the classroom that no one uses.

You took out Dreams Diary and continued reading.

August 20th, 20xx

Dear Diary,

Today has been an ok day, I talked with all my friends and silently watched on as everyone bullies Nightmare again. It's gotten so bad that he never talks anymore. He never tells me stories and never sings to me anymore. He's always grumpy and his aura is horrible. I thinks it's all my fault... if I had only stopped the bullying, he would've never become this.

Later that day, he ate his negative apples, along with the positivity ones, I managed to save at least one golden apple of mine. He wreaked havoc on our world and Ink came to help me. I don't know why but, I feel like he enjoyed beating Nightmare into the dirt... I didn't like it one bit, but I had to do it.

Anyway, I must be going... I'll try to update tomorrow.

That was the last entry, you sighed in disappointment, there was barely any information in this stinking Diary. Nightmare did say he got this from Reboot, you decided that you're gonna visit Reboot tonight.

You walked through the portal to the anti-void, where Reboot resides. "Hey Reboot." You smiled, walking up to the swapped Error Sans. "Oh! Hi (YN), What's up?" Reboot asked, smiling. "Nightmare told me you got Dreams Diary back." You stated, the skeleton across from you stuttered. "I-I-Uh... h-he um..." "Reboot, it's fine. I have it right here." You pulled out Dreams Diary and showed him. Reboot sighed in relief. "Oh, thank goodness you saved it from Nightmare." He tried to grab it, but you pulled it away from him. "I didn't 'save' it, he GAVE it to me." You crossed your arms. Reboot then became a nervous wreck. "W-what?" "He gave it to me to read." You stated. "You READ it!? But Dreams your friend!" Reboot lightly scolded you. "Starting to have second thoughts on that." You said, Reboots eyes widened. "What? Why!?" "Well, he never did anything to help Nightmare." You said. Reboot held a phalanx (finger) to his chin in thought. "Hmm, you have a point." He mumbled. "And it says in the diary that; "-Ink came to help me. I don't know why but, I feel like he enjoyed beating Nightmare into the dirt..." so... yeah." Reboot nodded in understanding. "Anyways, I got to go. I'll leave you to think about what I said." You walked through the portal back home.

Reboot stood there, thinking. You have a point, Dream never stopped people from bullying Nightmare, and never really consoled him... one thing came to his mind.
