Aria's P.O.V.

I just kept staring at those pregnancy test results wondering if my eyes were playing on tricks on me. But, every time I looked at the tests, I kept seeing a positive result. I had no idea what I was going do, I wanted a baby but this was the worst timing, I had already lost my best friend, and now I was pregnant.

I stood up and walked over to the mirror and lifted my shirt up slightly and gently traced my fingers over my flat stomach, I felt a tear fall down my cheek as I looked at the small and unnoticeable bump. I tried to think happy thoughts about this baby, but all I could think about was the possibility that I could die the same way Jess did. I'm gonna be a mother. I said inside my head.

I had no idea how I was going to tell Clay about this, or how he was going to react. When I looked back at my stomach, I assumed that I was at least two months pregnant. Should I tell him when he gets back or should I wait for a while? I stopped thinking about it the moment I heard my phone ring, I picked it up and saw that it was Jessica's mom.

"Hello?" I answered. "Hi Aria, it's Jess's mom, I know this is a hard time for you, but I was wondering if you could speak at Jess's funeral, and maybe sing at her wake, l know how close you two were," she asked. I had never been asked to speak or sing at someone's funeral, but I did remember Clay's speech at Hannah's funeral, to this day it still brings a tear to my eye. I imagine that it was hard for Clay, I knew it would be hard for me as well. But, I had to do it for Jessica.

"Okay, I'll do it, thank you Mrs. Davis, and I'm so sorry for your loss," I said. When I hung up the phone, I felt like a ton of bricks has been placed on my shoulders. I wiped away my tears away, and I placed a hand on my stomach and gently rubbed it. "Don't worry, we're gonna tell daddy soon, I promise, just not right now" I whispered to my unborn child.
