Chapter Nine

After Yoongi showered, he laid on his bed and fell asleep thinking.

'That was one hell of a night.'

Since Yoongi received Hoseok's note a day earlier than Hoseok intended, he thought that today he would ask him on a date but try and make it seem like it wasn't. Just a friendly encounter.

They day went by pretty fast, it was almost like Hoseok just flew through his classes like a eager bird, soon enough the school day was over and Hoseok had to catch Yoongi before he left the classroom.

"Yoongi wait up!" Hoseok yelled out to Yoongi who was this close out of the school.

Hoseok ran towards Yoongi slightly out of breath and resting his hands onto his knees.

"Woah, slow down whats up?" Yoongi laughed.

Hoseok finally lifted his head and noticed Yoongi had his sweater on. He smiled and cleared his throat.

"Oh ah, I wanted to ask if you wanted to uh, well I wanted to know if you wanted to maybe uh-" Hoseok stammered his words but not really getting out what he wanted to get out, out.

"Well, what is it Hoseok? Spit it out." Yoongi said, raising an eyebrow.

Hoseok cleared his throat again, zipping up his jacket.

"I wanted to know if you wanted to go to the movies with me tomorrow night.."

Yoongi perked up and walked just a bit closer to Hoseok.

"Like a date?" Yoongi asked smiling.

Hoseok turned red and rubbed the back of his head.

"No, itsjustthatIhadanextraticketandIdonthavefriendsso-" Hoseok blurted out a little to fast, Yoongi trying to process what he just said but he couldn't comprehend.

"Hoseok say that again but slow down." Yoongi said rubbing his temples

"I just had an extra ticket that's all." Hoseok whispered.

Yoongi laughed and Hoseok looked down to the floor.

"Why would you just have two tickets? I'm not dumb Hoseok, have confidence next time. Of course I'd go see a movie with you." Yoongi smiled

Hoseok then smiled, looking back up to Yoongi.

"Oh uh, can I get your number?" Hoseok asked more confident.

"Already? Why would you need my number, are you stalking me Hoseok?" Yoongi said with a serious face and pointing his finger in Hoseok's.

Hoseok's confidence levels dropped a little but he still stood tall.

"No, I need it so we can arrange what times to meet up, maybe just to talk too?" Hoseok smirked getting closer to Yoongi and making his cheeks turn slightly pink.

Yoongi put in his phone number and gave Hoseok his phone back. What he didn't expect was to be dragged to Hoseok's car.

"Yah, Hoseok where are we going? Yoongi asked, still being dragged across the street.

"You wanna walk in the rain?" Hoseok asked, opening the car door for Yoongi.

"It's not raining dummy." Yoongi nagged at Hoseok while he started the car.

As soon as Hoseok started driving it started to drizzle and Yoongi stayed quite.

Hoseok laughed keeping an eye on the road.

By the time they reached Yoongi' block it was mercilessly raining onto the sidewalks and streets. Yoongi noticed Hoseok was really low on gas and was worried he wouldn't make it home in time.

"You should stay until the rain stops, we have a extra gas container you can use to fill up since the station is pretty far." Yoongi offered shyly rubbing the back of his neck whilst looking out at the rain.

"Ah, thanks Yoongi but I think I'd be able to make it." Hoseok said in defense, holding up his hands and chuckling at Yoongi's shyness.

"I don't know Hoseok, your really low. I know your probably hungry too." Yoongi replied, pointing at Hoseok's now rumbling stomach.

"Alright, alright. I'll stay for a while. Just for you Kitten." Hoseok smiled, reaching to the back of the seat for his jacket.

"This is our only coverage tho' Yoongz" Hoseok said, waving around his jacket.

Hoseok got our of the car first and ran over to Yoongi's side, opening the door and helping him out in an attempt to not get them wet. They ran while laughing and made it into Yoongi's home.

Once the made it inside, Hoseok set the soaked jacket onto the rack as did Yoongi with Hoseok's sweater that he had leaded.

Yoongi plopped onto his couch while Hoseok fallowed.

"Well don't hesitate sit!" Yoongi laughed, and motined for Hoseok to join him on the couch.
