Chapter 1~ Nowhere to Go

Scenario 1~ If Clem kills Kenny and leaves Jane OR Clem lets Kenny kill Jane, then shoots Kenny. Sad either way to be honest. :'( Okay here we go~

I tightened my grip on A.J. as we walked closer. And closer towards the herd. We were both covered in walker guts. I suprisingly wasn't nervous, even though things could go horribly wrong. Like it could rain for example. The water would wash all of the grossness off of us, but that would leave us exposed. After all, the things were after nothing, except for food. WE were their food. It was disgusting to think about. It didn't rain though. It HASN'T. We'll be fine.

After we passed through, we headed up the hill. So far, so good. My legs were tired though. Lucky A.J. didn't have to walk. I sighed. He wouldn't even know his mother OR his father. I did, but A.J. would definitely not remember his parents. He's too young to remember any of this really. A.J. will have to be raised in this world. How morbid. The world seemed too dark to be real. I had the overwhelming urge to laugh. I didn't know why though. It most certainly wasn't the time for it and nothing was funny, yet I felt so defeated. So sad, so hopeless.

I had to look after this baby though, so I wouldn't mope in my self-pity. I wouldn't think about how I killed to get here. Wait, I just did..... but I wouldn't think too long on it. Some things weren't worth thinking about. I had to be strong.
