Getting a dog

I was telling my dad I wanted a dog for my birthday so we went on a hunt for a dog when we got to the shelter I told them I was looking for a dog they take me around the coner none of the dogs was the one I was looking for they were nice and all but they wasn't the color or the dog I was wanting so I turn to the lady and ask do you have any dogs that are pitch black and a pit bull and she looked at me like I was joking then she realized I wasn't joking she took me to very back of the shelter and that when I seen him pitch black with red eyes he was beautiful to her.

The lady said we was going to put him down cause no one like pit bulls but Shadow was not going to let that happen she turn to her dad and ask can we get him before they put him down of course Zak said yes because he hates knowing will do something like that to a animal he ask the lady how much will he cost and she told him that we can't have him because he was being put down today cause of his past but Zak was not going to let that happen so he told the lady he pay her 1000 dollars for this beautiful beast the lady take the cash. She open the gate he came up to shadow and gave her a lot of kisses this dog knows he going to a good home because Shadow gave him loves back and pet him with care and he was so sweet he rolled over on to his back so Shadow can rub his belly. They went to the front desk and paid for all of his stuff when the lady went to go put the leash he started to back away and acting like he scared of her so Shadow hold out her hand for the leash he didn't like the leash cause it spikes all of it he doesn't like spikes cause when he was in a dog fight his owner would beat him with a rope with spikes when he lost a fight so Shadow give the leash to the lady and said he are not going to have him on the leash he stay by my side give him a chance to prove himself. 

When they were walking down to the car he did as he was told to do and that was to stay by Shadow side until they get to the car and then he sat and waited for her to open the door for him to jump in there was towels in the back sits so he doesn't get dirt everywhere in the car the lady ask Shadow what was she going to name him she take one good look at him and said Demon because he was all black with red eyes the lady wrote it down on a pace of paper and gave it to her so she can have prove that she paid for him and the dated he was adopted and when he was born. Shadow really loves Demon eyes and his far and the way he stay by her when she tells him too he knows that she will take good care of him. When Shadow looked in the back to see what Demon is doing and he was sleeping like he doesn't care were he is going just as long he is with her and not alone for a long time when they got home grace greeted zak at the door he hold her so Shadow can bring in Demon and not have them fighting but Demon was so nice with her that he started to played with her he was friendly did not try to bite her or take her down he laid on the couch looking at Shadow like can I have what on your plate.
