I had sighed, after a long day of sleeping as we waited to arrive on our mission on planet Polus, a new planet. I was pretty well rested, we had just napped about an entire day as we got everything we needed done on the ship while we waited to arrive at our destination.
"Ah, finally!" I had chimed in a cheerful tone, I was awaken when I felt the landing on the new planet, we all got up and put our helmets on, as well as our oxygen tanks, making sure our helmets were sealed before getting off the ship, looking around as we all met up.
"Well, let's all have breakfast and then do our tasks!" I spoke and was still pretty happy and excited for this trip, the place itself was lovely and such a wonderful sight and by everyone else's faces of admiration, I could tell they thought the same. But after a few seconds of admiration everyone had nodded in agreement and started to head to the cafeteria to have breakfast, they marched in a crowd practically, all the crewmates gathered in one crowd, or though they thought, there was one imposter that nobody had known about. Unacknowledged of that situation, everyone sat down, taking some food and eating it.
Surprisingly, despite how social and gullible I can be, I didn't really have many friends among any of the group...so I just sat alone at a table, looking around at the others. There was Cyan, Purple, Blue, Yellow, Orange, White, Lime, Red and Black, we never gave our names to one another, just being color-coded, but...Black was someone who interested me somehow, but I don't know why so I kept silent. They were new after all so he didn't really say anything about anything. I just minded my own business, putting my visor on my helmet up and eating the sand-which I had gotten to eat and looked at the table below me as I did. To be fair, we all barely showed our faces unless it was putting up our visors or sleeping.
"Hey.." A dark, scruffy voice called out as I heard a small creak on the seat on the opposite side of me at my table. I looked up and there sat Black and Red, I was pretty confused with the pairing since Black was usually with White and Red was always with Purple, Cyan and Yellow. I just put down my sand-which back down onto my plate and shut my visor.
"Oh, uh...hi!" I waved, looking at them, I could barely see through their visors, but from what I could tell, Black had Blackish hair and blue eyes and Red had what looked to be black hair through the visor, but it was actually just a dark brown color, he also had gray-ish blue shaded eyes, I myself had blonde hair and had hazel eyes.
"You okay? You looked sort of lonely." Black spoke in his scruffy voice as Red just simply nodded in agreement with black. I just looked up at them for a few seconds, adjusting my helmet, looking down at the half eaten sand-which before I decided to respond to the question, nodding my head slowly up and down.
"Oh, yeah i'm okay!" I had a chime in my voice once more, a happy expression visible through my dull-ish visor, the two simply nodded as Red just got up, leaving black across from me and heading back over to his usual grouping...there was a brief silence between black and I before we eventually talked again.
"Well, are you going to eat the rest of your sand-which?" Black questioned, looking over at me as he gestured and point over at my half eaten sand-which. I just simply nodded, lifting up my visor and picking up the sand-which, eating it quickly, crumbs getting pretty much all over my face from how rushed my eating was. I didn't really pay attention to the crumbs until I went to shut my visor, only to end up feeling hands grasp onto my own, looking up at the one who had grasped my hands, seeing black as he pulled away one hand and brushed off the crumbs.
"Sorry, you had crumbs on your face." Black spoke and backed off with a sly smirk before it had went back to his resting face which made him look always dull so he just sort of stood up and offered me his hand.
"Let's go do our tasks now." Black spoke and looked around at the mostly empty cafeteria now, it was pretty bad for black...but also a good thing, for one, even if he were to kill and be suspicious, he had Pink as an alibi either way, so they headed off to do their tasks.
