Chapter Two * It begins...

(Oop- I realized that there is no cafeteria in the Polus map, my mistake. So just pretend there was for the sake of last chapter.)

At first I only approached Pink because I needed an alibi, so I didn't wanna get too close to him. That'd be the worse scenario to happen, getting attached to someone when you're a person whose hungry for blood? Yeah, no. I followed Pink though, he was actually a pretty nice person. He was doing a medbay scan right now, I just watched while it scanned him, shit...that sounds like a weird thing to say in thoughts. Anyways, once he was done we had to go to the laboratory to sort some artifacts or whatever these things were. I didn't really have tasks, that's why I was just following Pink around for the time being of when we had tasks, to be honest...even though I said I wasn't going to get attached, I think that was too late. He was too interesting to me...I'd probably have to end this before it got too late. Should Pink be the first to go? I questioned in my head, even if, the area needed to be isolated.

I just ended up not killing him, but as he was finished with the task he was on, I followed him outside to a node he had to fix, I would probably head off my own way now, to go find someone to prey on and then head back to Pink. Maybe Red? Or Blue...I sighed and decided on whoever I saw first, even if I wanted to hurt or kill pink, I needed him for an alibi. I headed off without a word and looked around, seeing Cyan by the lava pit, fixing the temperature. I looked around, seeing nobody in sight and grabbed his head, twisting it with ease as his neck then snapped. It sounded a bit crunchy...so, to get rid of some evidence, I let the long tongue I have, gobble up and eat the upper half of the body, leaving the other end to lay.

Yeah sure, this may sound a little cruel, but honestly I don't care, I didn't know Cyan all that well. I looked around one more time before taking a long route away from the half corpse, heading back to Pink, yes my tongue was back in my mouth already, so I wasn't at all suspicious, or so I thought, I'd only be suspicious if they found the body and questioned who was where. Pink was mostly done fixing the node, only needing to give it power now I think. But Pink looked at me before he spoke.

"Hey Black! What'd you head off for? Must've been important if you said nothing to me about it." Pink said, following with a huff and a cross of his arms. I just stared and smiled a bit, shaking my head to think of a quick excuse, I didn't know I left without a word, I must've been deep in thought if I did, oops. I looked back at Pink and gave a simple shrug.

"Oh, I saw a task not very far away from where we are right now, so I decided to do it as I waited." I simply said, I was sort of shocked when Pink had actually believed that lie. Was he honestly that gullible? Or was I just very good at lying? Anyways, it's best to think about it later, this could probably be an advantage. I followed him wherever he went, he successfully restored power in the weather node or whatever it was, I then followed him around until we both heard a crying scream, one full of nausea and grief, that's when I knew they had found the body, or at least someone did. Honestly I should've just kicked it in the lava pit.

Pink ran towards the noise, so I followed after, and I could already tell the others were following as well. Once we saw the body, I acted sad, gagging a bit, turning my head, I took a glanced at Pink though, they looked shocked, they were trembling, looking like they were going to throw up or pass out, maybe a combination. I tapped his helmet before giving him a hug, deciding it'd probably comfort him. I could feel the trembling calm down a bit, but not the nauseous noises I heard from him.

"It's okay, Pink...just don't look..." I said and everyone looked at the both of us and turned, I stared at the body before I heard a voice start sobbing, it was Purple and Yellow. Which I think only made Pink more upset, Purple and Yellow always hung around Cyan as well as Red who was just hugging the two, like I was doing to Pink, trying to calm them down.

Finally, a brave voice called out, the voice of White, my supposed friend. Honestly I only hung around him because I didn't want him to be lonely, but I still sort of liked him even if I did fake being friends with him.

"Everyone! Let's head down to the office...that way we don't have to stare at Cyan's corpse..." White said, everyone would probably be less nauseous if I hadn't eaten the upper part of Cyan's body, but it was too late for that. Everyone took White's advice and followed him towards the office, I held Pink close, it felt like holding a baby to your side, but I wasn't holding him it was just because he was a little shorter than me, he was short, nor was he tall.

Once we were all in the office, I let Pink go, though I could feel him wobble, he got the hang of standing again and looked around at everyone and then me, White soon spoke up and glared at everyone, I could see the anger in his eyes, even through the visor on his helmet, though I could also see the sadness they were hiding, I just looked around at everyone's faces, they were now just filled with horror and grief, and a mixture of disgust.

"Who did it?" White asked in a irritated and stern tone, glaring at everyone, skeptical and suspicious. We could already tell that a long conversation and discussion was about to begin. I wasn't very prepared for it, thankfully I had an alibi, as long as they don't mention the short period of time I was gone, then I will be alright and have nothing to worry about.
