ch 1 the heat

Baby!!! My girlfriend yelled. I opened my eyes and she started laughing and said you can't sleep I'm the only one that can sleep around here. I said Yea yea. Haley is

my girlfriend she is about 5 foot 7 inch brown hair blue eyes she has a dimples on each side of her cheek that show when she smiles. I asks her if she wanted to take a nap and she said yes. So we lay down and she fell asleep I had my hand on her belly. So we just laid there mad I wanted to kiss her but I didt want her to get back up. So I started thinking about everything. I just got all the firefighter classes I needed to go into house fire but I have all ready been in 6 or 7 but the feeling never gets old. We both leaving in honea path S.C out side the city limits I'm on friendship volunteer fire dept station 15.

The time came to take her home I pushed her on her shoulder she got up she looked so good we got up fam went to the truckwe got up and went to the truck 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD white stock suspension mud grip tires my it looked good. I took her home. We pulled up at her house. Her mom and dad never liked me I always had something wrong with me to them I give Haley everything she wants and needs and that don't like that I do that and because I got there daughter pregnant me and Haley have been together for over a year now we got together on sept 11, 2013 which as we all know is a day full of bad memories and heart break. But in this one day she makes we smile. I got her hand and we walked in side she said baby am going to go to bed I said I could have guess that. I kissed her 1 time 3 time 7 times and I said night night hayhay I love you hayhay she said night night dudu I love you dudu. They were little nick names that we came up for each other. I kissed her one more time before she walked into her room I walked outside and got in my turck I saw that my brother had texted me. The text said you want to come up to the fire Dept. I text back hell yea on the way. The time was 10 p.m

As I pulled up at the fire Dept I looked around the wind had just started to pick up so I went inside fasted. Mitchell my brother and topper one of your good friend on the fire Dept with us was up there. They yelled what up dog. I yelled it back

Pe...pe....pe....pe..... Our fire pagers went off ( the pagers go off when firefighter gets calls ) friendship station 15 structure fire ( house fire ) 317 old tornado road off Texas Road we jump up put our turn out gear on boots pants coat helmet and ran to the fire turck we jumped in. I got the radio and said fire control engine 15 is in route the lights cut on and so did the siren. The one thing I love about being a firefighter was this. Running called saving poeple and what I loved the most is not knowing what we will roll up on Yea something I wish I didt show up but that's the job. We pull up on scene and get out it was a one story house looked like 4 bed 3 bath so it was a big house. A women come up to us yelled my baby are in there I yelled ma'am we will get them now get back the fire chief came rolling up and started telling everyone where to go I told him there were kids still inside. He yelled you and topper get your asses in there and get there I got a axes off the turcks and yelled topper let's go the front door was open and we started looking the hole house for the kids. We could not finds them the heat as starting Push's down on our backs the smoke was making it very hard to see and the only two room we had not looked in was it the back hallway where the fire was. Stated walking to in the fire was spitting at us stopimh us from getting to the door topper yelled we got to back out. I looked at him and said them kids have to be in that room we have to get them. We took off ran right through the fire I felt the heat come through my air mask and hit me in the face. We got to the door and it was lock I hit it one good time with the axe and it open we got inside the room and closed the door back I saw the kids on the floor I grao them and tryed to find the window and topper got the other kid I found it and got on the radio and said busting out a window we need EMS over here right now I hit it and felt glass hit the back of my coat I waiting for 3,4 sec before moving back to the window and set the kid outside with the EMS guys topper did the same and got got and took  masks off and airpacks it was a little cold outside and the fire attack crew went inside and pull the time fainl came to go home in was 2 a.m in the morning we got back in the fire turck and went home ....
