Diana's P.O.V
I stared at my father who adjusted himself in the chair. His fingers fidgeting, beads of sweat forming at the top of his forehead.
Everyone in this town became on edge, due to the disappearance and murders of 14 women in our hometown. Only 6 were found...
The police officer then asked my father, where was he on October 2nd, 2019. My father gave the excuse of being at the father, daughter dance with me. Which was true. So I didn't say anything. The officer started to pack up after asking all questions. I guess they didn't deem my dad suspicious but I was.

Night came around and I pretended to go to sleep. My mother was out on a business trip, at least that's what my father told me.Around 2 AM, my dads pickup backed out the driveway. Where was he going so late at night? I couldn't follow him because I didn't have a car.
I decided to go back to bed. I went to bed with these pounding thoughts running around my brain.
I woke up around 10 AM, I went to my parents bedroom and there my dad was, sleeping. Something seemed off...I went to the kitchen and by the kitchen was our backdoor.
The backdoor had dirty footprints from my dads shoes. Where did he go? I went into the laundry and found his clothing. Dirt?
I'm starting to get a horrible feeling in my stomach. Do I want to believe that he's the Brookside Napper? No.
Maybe he just went to go do something not containing a body? I denied it. I was suspicious but no...couldn't be my father.
I became starled upon hearing my father's footsteps on the creaking wooden floor. I quickly poured some cereal and sat at the table. "Morning." I mumbled to him. He smiled in reply. Does he not notice the footprints yet?
He came out of the kitchen and then finally noticed. His eyes shot open.
"If you're wondering about the footprints, I went to help Lisa with soil for her garden last night. Strange right? At 2 AM?" My father said hesitantly. He scratched his gruff.
I just said "Ok." To get away from this awkward conversation. The day flew by and my dad once again left at 2 AM. I took this chance to search my dads office.
Upon searching I found nothing so far. I kept searching and a draw that was locked got my attention. I picked the lock and then started to dig through the items.
My eyes went upon little white frames. Pictures? I took them out and looked at them. My eyes grew big and I became terrified. Lisa, Theresa, and many other's including...mom. I threw the pictures on the floor and stepped away slowly. I knocked into a frame.
"You weren't suppose to see that." My dad's voice boomed.
Is this where I die? Because I found out his secret...
Soon everything turned black...
