"Please, give our lovely couple a round of applause!"
The crowd cheers on as we entered the hall. It was like a dream come true.
"Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!"
We kissed for a few seconds before we took the spot to thank our families and some of our closest friends who came to our wedding banquet.
"Everyone, we sincerely thank you for spending your precious time with us,"
"We will live a happy life and build a family of our own. Thank you very much!"
The party was over before midnight and our guests headed to their hotel rooms that we reserved for them. We flew immediately by a private jet to French Polynesia for our honeymoon.
We sailed to our rented private island near the coast of Vanuatu. It was absoulutely stunning.
"Babe, I couldn't ask for more. This and with you is everything I could ask for,"
"Me, too, babe,"
We did all sorts of water sports, and trekking in a protected rainforest. It was one of the best memories we built. We were so happy. We knew we loved each other since we decided to take our friendship to the next level right after we graduated from high school.
Yes, cliché as you probably have guessed by now. We were friends since middle school as our parents were business partners.
However, unlike other stories you might have read already, our marriage wasn't an arranged one. We were so sure about it. It wasn't just because of our businesses. Maybe for our parents somehow. But not for us.
We loved each other and we promised to stay together and to build a happy married life.
