Today me and Fonzie were just relaxing on the couch. We were sitting there on our phones looking at social media. All of a sudden Fonzie gets a pain in his stomach. He kept getting these pains for a while until his water broke. He looked down at his pants and they were wet. He goes and changes his pants and underwear. He came in there with his hospital bag.
"It's time." He said as a contraction hit.
"Okay let's go get in my Jeep." I said while helping him out the door and I grabbed everything that I needed and the car seat for the baby.
I get him in the car and the car seat installed and the bags in the back. I get in the drivers seat and I get buckled in and I drove off to the hospital. When we arrived at the hospital I got the bags out and Locked the car after I helped Fonzie out of the car. I get him in a wheelchair and checked in and we head to his room. He gets in a hospital gown and he is only dilated 5 centimeters. He did not want the epidural.
I stood there beside holding his hand and comforted him.
"This hurts!!!!!!" He screamed.
"I know it does but it will be worth it. I said to him.
Finally after hours of him screaming and wanting the pain to stop he was finally ready to push.
The doctor came in and told him to push.
"This hurts so bad!!!!!" He screamed while pushing.
"It's going to be worth it." I told him.
After hours of him pushing and screaming the head and shoulders were out.
"Ok one more push." The doctor told.
"Owwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!" He screamed.
The baby finally came out.
After that got her cleaned up and stuff they put her on his bare chest.
"What's her name?" The doctor asks him as he writes down her information.
"Her name is Jayla Elizabeth Fonzarelli." He told him while holding his daughter on his bare chest.
"Okay I got it and she has separation anxiety." He told him.
"Okay." He told him.
The doctor showed him how to breast feed Jayla and burp her too.
Once Jayla was fed I laid her down in her bassinet beside his bed. We both slept all night long and Jayla slept the whole night.
