It was a pleasant 8 AM in a small little neighborhood. Everyone is just about to wake up and do whatever they're about to do in their mornings, but a Simipour mother always trained her Oshawott son for the become a new hero to stop crime when he becomes a hero. Today she was going out for an unknown amount of days and leaving her son alone by himself and his friends for whenever he wants to hang out with them.

The Simipour had yellow hair, a magenta ruff, dark indigo fur, and a green tail while the Oshawott had a dark gray body, light gray scalchop, a red nose, and black ears, tail, and feet.

"So are you ready for this test?" The Simipour said to the young Sea Otter Pokemon in a serious, but calm and quiet manner while walking down the stairs.

"Heck yeah!" The Oshawott yells out in a confident, but a bit cautious tone.

"Alright. I'll be watching over you through that one way window. Good luck."

The Simipour quickly leaves the room as the Oshawott hides himself behind some treasure chests before two random humans appear as they banter with each other.

"Now this was the easiest place we've ever broken into. Especially when these creatures are super powered monsters that have technology that could surpass ours." Whispered the first human.

"It's just that they don't have the brains to think about it. Now come on and let's steal the treasure before we get caught." Says the second, but in a slightly louder voice.

The thieves start stealing the treasure, but they didn't know that there was someone young, small, and very inexperienced sneaking up on them.

"OSHA!!!" The Oshawott screamed out and charged at one of them with a dagger, but they quickly disappeared before he could ever attack them.

"I failed, didn't I?"

The Simipour is now holding the Oshawott and stares at him with a look of disappointment.

"I don't know how you could ever think that that was the way to attack, but you have proved to me that you still desperately need help with this."

"Why did I fail?" The Oshawott nervously asked.

"There were many reasons why you failed, but let's start with yelling so loud is never a good idea considering your size is small and weak for any criminal to hear you and then dodge that attack quickly and counter with a punch to the face or just killing you with whatever weapon they have on them."

"I'm sorry..." The Oshawott started to tear up, but the Simipour starts to dry them up with her dress.

"It's fine, but can I ask you one thing?" The Simipour said in a more calm, but serious tone.

"What?"

"Do you want to fight crime in the future or not?"

"I want to fight crime! I want to become your sidekick and prove myself that I'm no kid that's getting himself in danger! I want to be a hero!" The Oshawott said before hugging his mother.

"If that's what you want to do..."

The Simipour starts to hug her son back.
