FABTASY AU KISS KISS?? WHATTTT???

The frantic jingle of the keys rattling in the lock couldn't help but distract Bullfrog, his eyes snapping down as he watched Sovereign hopelessly fiddle with it. "It's not that hard" Bullfrog snapped, his grip around the cold bars tightening with the mounting stress they'd be caught. "You aren't the one unlocking it!" Sovereign frantically whispered in response, finally hearing the click of the lock opening. He didn't hesitate to swing the door open, a creak coming from the rusty hinges. Hardly seconds afterwards Bullfrog threw himself forwards out of the cell, a few footsteps later ramming into the knight's chest causing a small clatter as the metal of the knight's chestplate hit his.

His arms immediately locked around the larger man's sides, there being a near desperateness in the way he frantically grabbed at the cloak's dull fabric. There was an indescribable sense of warmth he felt when Sovereign pulled him into his chest, for a brief moment he felt butterflies in his stomach. There were a few seconds of silence as Bullfrog let the other man simply embrace him, his grip tightening before he let go completely. His head lifted up from where he'd once laid it against Sovereign's chest, his eye wide as he stared at the other man. Bullfrog had always thought he had such beautiful eyes, the way they nearly glowed in the dark made him want to never look away. "Can-" he immediately cut himself off, his words having cut through the silence like a newly sharpened blade.

"Can I kiss you?"

Sovereign's brows raised in surprise, though it didn't take but half a second for him to reply with a hurried nod. Bullfrog's hands ran up the man's cloaked armor, one of his hands running through his hair to take a gentle grip on the back of his head, his other sliding to the side of his face. He pushed himself forwards on his toes, bringing the knight's face down to his. Their lips locked together, the kiss feeling simultaneously gentle yet intense. It was something entirely new for Bullfrog, he'd only been kissed one other time, that time being from Sovereign some hours ago. It was a truly loving embrace, which was entirely foreign to Bullfrog. Perhaps that's why he craved it so much. Their kiss lasted only a few seconds, though in the moment it'd felt like an eternity. Bullfrog slowly loosened his grip on Sovereign's hair, letting his arms fall to his sides and allowing Sovereign to pull his head back up.

His eyes fell to the ground in a mix of embarrassment and happiness, watching as Sovereign took a gentle hold of one of his hands. "Come on," Sovereign whispered, lifting Bullfrog's chin back up so they could once again meet eyes. "Let's get you out of here"
