It had been a long summer on the Island of Sodor. Edward had spent the days banking trains up Gordon's Hill alongside Duck. One late summer morning. The Fat Controller had come to see Edward at the sheds.

"I have an important job for you today Edward. You are to take steel pipes from the docks to the wharf."

Edward was grateful to not be on banker duty. He had spent all week pushing trains up the hill.

'Oh this will be a lovely change of scenery' Thought Edward.

Soon Edward arrived at the docks to collect the steel pipes. He saw Salty sitting idle talking to Cranky.

"Arghh, How's the weather matey?"
"Quite fine today, do you know where the steel pipes are"
"Ah, they be over there in the sidings."
"Thank you Salty."

And soon Edward was on his way to the docks. First he went through Henry's Tunnel. Then he passed through Henry's Forest. And finally he looked at the view from the top of Gordon's hill. Edward arrived at the wharf in the late afternoon. But when he got there, he saw Rheneas sitting sadly in a siding.

"My Godred Rheneas, Whatever has happened to you?"

"I've broken down, and there's no one to take me to the works."
"Maybe I could take you. Pardon me Sir, but could I possibly take Rheneas to the works?"
"Rheneas is quite heavy, you will need to take care and go straight there."
"Gladly. I've finished all of my other jobs, so I'd be happy to help."
"Yes sir," replied Edward.
"And be careful, the coupling on the flatbed is old." he added.

Soon Rheneas was loaded onto the flatbed. Rheneas was still glum

"I'll be cooped up in the works for months while my parts are mended." He said. Edward wanted to cheer his friend up. But before he could think Rheneas spoke.
"Hmmm, oh! I know, It's been awhile since I've been around Sodor. Maybe you could show me some of the sights. And maybe we'll find the perfect spot to watch the sun set. How's that?"
"But didn't the Thin Controller quite literally just tell us to go straight to the works." Edward deadpanned.
"Hah, it's not like I was even scheduled to be delivered to the works today anyways." chuckled Rheneas.
And Edward steamed off with Rheneas in tow.

So Edward didn't take Rheneas straight to the works, he puffed through the countryside on the lookout for a place to go to. Until they arrived at Callen Castle.

"There, isn't this a good place to watch the sunset?"
"Mmmm it is nice But not really a good place Edward. You can't see the sun fall behind the horizon because of the hills."
Rheneas replied bluntly.
"Oh, very well then. How does Henry's Forest sound?"
But before Rheneas could respond, Edward already began puffing away.

Edward and Rheneas puffed through the peaceful quiet and green trees of Henry's Forest. They came to a stop in a siding.
"There, a nice peaceful and calm place to see the sunset." Edward tiredly said.

"It's a really nice place Edward, I'll give you that. But I want a clear view of the sunset."
"Clear sunset you say? Fine, I'll give you one." Huffed Edward tiredly, before slowly steaming off.
"I love your lack of energy! Go Edward! Give us nothing" Rheneas cheekily said.
"You cheeky-"
*Incompressible bickers ensues that fades out*

Edward had to think of somewhere Rheneas had never been before. Suddenly an idea flew into his smokebox.
