The apology (Part 2)

You woke up to the smell of your f/b (fav breakfast) as you sit up from the bed, you fixed your messy hair ht best you could and you head out to see Rhoam cooking your F/B. As you walked over you looked over his shoulder and watched.

"Good morning Y/n, how was your sleep?" He slightly turned his head to look at you, but his hoodie from his cloak was covering his gaze, but all you could do was smile.

"It was good, thank you for asking! Can you help me understand my shiekah slate? I don't understand how this stuff works." Your brought out your sheikah slate and sat down next to Rhoam so he could help you.

"So, see these four glowing dots? These are The shrines you and Link if you two are okay, to get the spirit orbs for my paragliders, these numbers at the bottom are temperatures, and it shows your directions, like north, south, west, all that. You can also zoom in on your map to see the names on the map." He pointed out everything as you watched in complete interest.

"Woah! so that's so how it works, thanks Rhoam, I'll remember that for sure, I'm going to explore this part of the plate and see if I can get some better weapons from the monsters around here, and is it okay if I take some of the f/f with me?" You stood up, grabbing your satchel, and your weapons to get ready to leave.

"Of course dear, here!" He handed you the f/f and you put it away in your satchel, and after you waved good-bye, you went on your way, heading towards one of the shrines on the mountains.

(Link's POV)

Y/N hasn't returned yet, I grew really worried, worse than before. As I got up to look around the forest, I saw the old man crushed down by a tree, I went over and tapped him on the shoulder.

"Hm? Oh hello Link, let me guess, are you looking for Y/n?"

I nodded in response, and I asked what he is doing.

"I'm hunting, you can grab my soldiers bow and arrows over there." He pointed behind me o a small camp. "And Y/n went towards one of the shrines, show me your shiekah slate so I can show you where."

As I showed him my Shiekah slate, he pointed to the shrine that was behind the one that was in the snow mountains, which had you f/c arrow in the area. I nodded and said 'thank-you' and went on my way, collecting mushrooms, and fruits on the way. I got Iron shroom, Rushroom, Hylian shroom, and a Stamella shroom. After I got the bow and arrows, I went towards the direction that Y/n went, passing by the Old Man's cabin and seeing a tree cut down to make a bridge, as I carefully crossed it, My heart was pounding in my ears as the tree slightly tilted, but I made it across, I passed by an empty Bokogoblin camp, there were arrows in trees and the ground, there was also a Bokogoblin shield and a Boko club that was left behind, but they were leaned neatly on the tree.

'Maybe Y/n left them behind for me, or she forgot..'

I picked up the gear, and I equipped the ones that were about to beak so those can be rid of first, and then I started climbing the mountain, being careful not to slip on any loose rocks. As I made it to the top, I saw Y/n barely scanning the shrine to activate it.

(Your POV)

"Y/n, wait!"

You turned around to see Link, running towards you. You put the shiekah slate on your belt and turned towards him, ready to hear what he has to say. Deep down, you thought he was going to scold you for running off in the middle of the night, which had a risk of getting hurt by the monsters, or worse killed. But instead, it was the opposite.

"L-Look, Y/n I'm sorry for the way I acted last night, it was not okay, and I'm extremely guilty. I shouldn't have yelled at you for just asking questions, I'm sorry, can you for-"
