Ok, precursor. I love the idea of Bakugou being scared of thunder, and him having to wait them out and try to keep himself calm. While in this one it starts without any warning and Shoto notices. Why do I think this? I think it reminds him too much of his own explosions and just makes him think if violence. It reminds him of the battles he was in and the times using his quirk didn't save him. So he just suffers the the ptsd induced panic.

Anyways, story time!

It was a slightly cloudy day, UA had to be closed due to “educational training” which was just when Aizawa would train everyone in the hero courses till they couldn’t stand. Katsuki and Shoto were pinned against each other, Aizawa's cruel joke to recreate the training tournament. Shoto was still not willing to use his left side, but Katsuki wasn’t holding back. Before they were able to finish school, they got out. This was announced when Kaminare shocked almost the entire training field and screamed.

“Yes, finally!” The blond yells, dropping to the floor, exhausted.

Bakugou falls to the ground from his last explosion and rolls his eyes. “I almost fucking won Pikachu!” Bakugou yells, upset.

“Stop screaming for a minute. You weren’t going to win so just calm down.” Shoto says before walking over to Midorya and Tenaya. Everyone was extremely tired as they dragged themselves back to the dorms. When they got there, the dorm’s kitchens were filled with fresh ingredients. Sero, Mina, and Denki complained that they didn’t just fill it with prepared food, meanwhile tenya was scolding them. Pointing out that they could have just left the kitchens as they were and given them nothing.

Shoto and Katsuki had already started their preparations, while Momo was helping the others. Shoto reached over Katsuki’s pan to grab a few spices and Bakugou looked over at him, disgusted. “Don’t reach over my fucking pan. If you need something ask me.” Bakugou says.

“Sorry, I’ll ask you next time, can you hand me the soy sauce now?” Shoto asks.

Bakugou rolls his eyes as he passes Shoto the soy sauce. They stayed quiet while they cooked for everyone. They were all sitting in the kitchen, knowing both of them preferred to cook alone, but shocked as they cooked together. Bakugou would add spices to Shoto’s dish while Shoto did the same to him. Each of them tasting theirs and the other’s dish. Katsuki then went to add a little garlic to his dish, but Shoto stopped him, and everyone flinched.

However, instead of the blond blowing up, verbally or physically, he simply put the spice down and grabbed a pinch on powdered chilli peppers. He sprinkled that in and then tasted it. “Good idea.” Katsuki says, holding a small tasting spoon for Shoto to try. Shoto tastes it and smiles.

“Looks like the meat is done. Everything else is done too.” Shoto says, turning off the heat and turning to everyone. They were all staring at the two of them in shock, shaking off the expression when Katsuki turned around.

“What the fuck are you extras stareing at?!” Katsuki yelled, startling everyone to their feet. They all grabbed plates, serving themselves, most of the baku squad avoiding the blonds dish. They all just wanted to keep their taste buds. The others mixed the two meats and still decided to try Bakugou’s dish. Last was Shoto and Bakugou since they had to wash their hands again, getting off the mix of spices on their fingers. Shoto made a bed of rice on his plate and topped it with Bakugou’s dish. Bakugou separated the rice and meat on his dish, but didn’t take his, he took some of shoto’s. When they all sat down in their friend groups, Kirishima was the first one to make fun of Bakugou.

“So? You and Shoto? Enemies or are you going to admit you like him?” Kirishima asks.  Knowing he’s gonna die.

“What the fuck shitty hair!? He’s just the only person here with fucking taste buds and the basic ability to cook!” The blond yell, not caring that the others were around. He reached over and grabbed a bottle of hot sauce.
