It was the end of Drama Club. Whilst other students made their way out of the auditorium, Sabrina was left roaming the stage. She would always be the last one to leave, helping with the lights, cleaning up the props, this way she was allowed to have the whole stage to herself once everyone had cleared out. For hours she could go over her lines, lines from previous plays they've had or plays she wished to have a role in the near future.
This particular night the auditorium cleared itself really fast. It was Friday night so it wasn't unusual that students wanted to get home and get ready for the weekend.
Sabrina on the other hand, wasn't going anywhere, she was right where she wanted to be.
Mick stood leaning on the wall outside the entrance to the school's auditorium. He knew that she would be here, he had seen her before, roaming the stage, having quiet conversations with herself.
He gave a swift nod to the last student to leave the auditorium and caught the door before letting it shut behind him.
Sabrina was already up on stage, stacking chairs in a pile.
"I can help you with that!" A voice is heard shouting from the audience.
Sabrina, blinded by the spotlights, holds her hand slightly above her eyes to spot the silhouette of Mick Schumacher standing in the alley leading towards the stage.
"You know, I never took you for a student that does their homework last minute." She smiles.
"I...I'm not." He stutters, she is making him nervous again. "I just have this partner that won't give me a break for ditching her the other day."
Sabrina's eyes narrow. "Whatchu got there?"
Mick looks to the bags in his hand then raises them slightly. "A peace offering." He says.
She gestures for him to come up on stage.
"Royal Burger?" She frowns.
"I hope you like their cheeseburgers, because I got us four of them."
