The next morning, James felt the need to remind the boys of the events that unfolded last night. Each of them told Remus what they found and who they thought the father was. The four boys were never ones to be quiet about such things but this was big information they could use and the Slytherin lay in the bed next door so they whispered as if they were talking about the world ending.
Sirius P.O.V.
"wait, wait, wait. So you're telling me that Y/N Y/M/N Y/L/N is pregnant like with child" Remus spoke shock etched upon his face. The other boys nodded their head vigorously like children oh the irony. I simply nodded slowly but I imagine my face let something slip about how I was feeling since Remus gave the look of 'I need to speak to you later cause I know your some how involved but I'm too tired to say it now'.
"Is she definitely pregnant? I mean she doesn't look like the type of girl to do something like that and not think about it" Remus spoke again trying to picture the Slytherin with a dislike for everything but her own kind with a child.
"Who do you think the father is" James felt the need to pipe up
We all looked unsure bar me I probably looked guilty but they're ti busy thinking of ways to embarrass her than bother with why I look like i'm going to die.
"Personally, I believe the only obvious answer is that the father is a Slytherin. Y/L/N knows about the difference between the serpent house and the rest. I doubt that she'd settle for anyone other than Slytherin" Moony states clearly thinking about all the possibilities.
"Look guys we need to drop this. Its got nothing to do with us so lets just forget about it"
TIME SKIP
After what had happened between me and Y/N I felt that it would be best to talk to her I know that I'm the father of the child.
Y/N P.O.V
I had just finished showering and dressing and was in the middle of writing a letter to my family explaining my pregnancy when all of a sudden Sirius burst through the door causing me to put loads of paper over my letter covering it.
"I know Y/N" he spoke softly but still strong
"Know what? that you're a dickhead" I answered
"You could say that but no. I know that you're pregnant and that I'm the father" he said now crouching down to face me
"Sirius...I..I..I" I was speechless not knowing what to say
"I know we haven't been on the best of terms or anything really. But I want you to know that ill be there for the child as a father. I don't want to rush you into anything but id like to be there for you if you would allow it. Do you think we should start out as friends or maybe let me take you on a date"
I knew that my family would be unhappy with me bearing a child out of wedlock so
"I'll take that date" I smiled at him
We both smiled and spent the rest of the night talking and getting to know each other. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all
