dear alice,
i really liked the clothes you wore to school today. you...dressed differently but you seemed much happier when your skirt flowed just below your knees than when you would scratch your legs through your jeans.
also, we should keep eating our recess and lunch away from the others and under that willow tree like we did today. i really liked having my head on your lap with you dropping cereal into my mouth and me trying to catch it. i remember you laughing every time it missed my mouth as well! i also really like your laugh.by the way, alice, do you want to come with me tomorrow to find more meadows and clearings? i meant to come with me to the forest near my house so we can continue finding secret places to plant our poem books in!
also i think we should do that idea of making poems and writing them in books to place in places. what if some people in the future finds them and keeps it? and even if they dont, we'll have poem books everywhere so if they throw that one away...there'll be lots of others! also if they keep it they could see our thoughts and like, have our memory preserved through time...you know?
i also asked your mom to give you some cookies i baked myself. i know youre probably asking how i dropped them off. well see you know how we go home together and split up when we reach the neighbourhood's fountain? yeah, i ran to your house and told your mom and gave the cookies. after youve read this you probably got the cookies already.
well that's it for today allie! write me a letter back if you can :)
