KAT'S POV

It was a night before the beginning of another school year and that we are also new to that boarding house.  Glad to say that my cousin knew one of the lady boarder.  Actually it's a mix boarding house. Everybody is busy unpacking their things while for me,  I'm already done and sitting in the kitchen.

Hai,  I'm kat and this is my cosuin eli,  nice meeting you. What year are you now?  And how old are you?

Oh,  hello ate,  I'm tin and this is also my roommate madi,  both grade 11 students,  17 years old and taking up STEM category,How about you ate?

Ahhmm,  as you can see,  I'm 2 years older than you and I am a 3rd year nursing student.

That night was just more on introduction of ourselves and some view regarding our school since we are entering same school.

NEXT DAY (first day of school)
Syempre pag first day,  lahat excited so bawat isa is that busy preparing from morning routine while for me,  nakaupo sa kusina sipping my coffee and that is thanks to my cousin since sya ang toka sa pagluluto this AM..  Girls talk pa din with the 2 youngers and that was the day I completely meet this stranger that I didn't expect to have a special part in my life 😊

I'm busy on my phone when the door infront of our room was opened and a thin, dark, tall guy came out greeting us "hello" then dretso sa lababo for his routine. To clear myself, I'm not attracted to him because during those time, I'm on a 1 year 5mos relationship, well that was my 1st boyfriend back then.

FASTFORWARD
Sabi nga nila, to have a peaceful and positive environment,  you must have to be connected with the people around you and I'm very thankful to it because not that long,  we the boarders are bit by bit became close to each other considering that we have differences like our languages,  personalities,  beliefs and even tribes.

We do have bondings like going out to eat,  cooking and eating together,  going to the river near our boarding house, morning/afternoon walk and even drinking liquor. Just for clarification guys, I'm not a drinker same as to my boardmates because were just drinking 1 bottle of gin (the small one)  with  juice and thinking that we are composed of 5-6 people drinking that one bottle and it's not regularly, sometimes when it's last day of exam or when someone is having a birthday.

Being with them almost everyday, it seems that they are your second family and that's a good feeling.

Sorry for a boring part,  promise that during the next chapters,  it will be more interesting 🙂
