Jesse straightened his bow-tie as he looks in the mirror. Today is the day. What is happening today? He's asking Sophie out on a date. Jesse straightened his tuxedo once again before eating lots of tic-tacs and drinking lots of mountain dew... red. He gathered all the courage he can find, grabbed a bouquet of roses and headed out.
On his way he passed the lake where they had their first kiss. He smiles slightly and resumes to go round the lake. Standing tall and wide, the mansion stood before him.
"This is the place." He mumbled to himself, with anxiety filling up in his head. "I can do this."
Jesse knocks on the door. There were a few voices and banging noises before the door opened.
"Hell- Oh! It's you! Hi~!" Sophie said flirtatiously.
"Hey Sophie I was wondering if-" ding! a notification interrupted his speech.
"OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!" Sophie squealed as she looked down at her phone.
"What? What is i-" he was once again cut off, but this time by Sophie.
"Shoe texted back! WE'RE DATING AGAIN! WE'RE BACK TOGETHER!" She screamed. "Oh, and why are you dressed up in a tuxedo and holding a bouquet of roses?" She questioned.
"Oh! I- uh- was going on a date with someone, and I needed some support... from you!" He lied like the liar he was.
"Oh, okay! Good luck!" Sophie smiles as she closes the door. Jesse was left, cold and heartbroken, by his first love.
