Why couldn't chase just say it when I was there tf or Ava, do he like her, he can't he is my best friends since years ago. I trust them but how can't he not like her she is so beautiful

Ava: no, but it's okey  you trust them right

Me: what is it
Chase: you know that it's Payton's birthday tomorrow right
Me: what, no he didn't tell me
Chase: weird but I thought maybe we can do something for him
Me: yeah ofc but like what, a party?
Chase: yeah but we don't have a house
Me: my house, but we need a plan so it can be a surprise
Chase: maybe we can like "forgot" about his birthday and you just go out and do something with him while me and Ava fix the party and then when you coming back with him we surprise him
Me: yeah that's an amazing idea, do Ava know about this
Chase: yeah
Me: good, so now we just pretend like nothing
Chase: but if he ask about what we talked, what do we say then
Me: like hmm we just say nothing okey, idk what else because i don't want to lie

We went back to Payton and Ava

Me: nothing, but Ava can we go to the mall today need to buy some clothes

Chase: bro we can hang out and like play the games you know

I have avoid to talk to Payton and I feel so stupid and mean but I'm terrible to keep secrets like this one so if he talk to me to much maybe I say it and I really don't want to ruin it

Payton drove me and Ava to the mall

He looked so sad, he took his hand on my thigh and I took my hand on his, I looked in in the backseat on Ava and chase with a sad face
Then I looked forward again

He stopped the car

He looked down I lifted up his chin and kissed him

Payton: no problem, do you want me to get you after too
Me: no it's okey I can take an Uber
Payton: call me when you are home so I can come over
