Playtime~ Mercedes & Melchior

A/n: I know Lucio's route is not finished but let's pretend. Also this story has spoilers for Lucio's route so far.

LUCIO'S POV. (1st person)

          It's been a few months after me and MC beat the devil and saved the World Turtle. We all got lucky, everyone came out of it safe. Me and MC moved in with each other, we are currently staying at their shop. Only because Asra moved into the castle to be with his parents. Even though it's not my style I'm glad to be with them.
         I've been alone all day waiting for MC to close down the shop. I want them to close down the shop and just live with me in the castle, but I know how many memories they have here and I would never make them do that. I'm laying on our shared bed with Melchior and Mercedes. Melchior is laying on my legs and Mercedes is laying across my chest until we hear the door creak open. MC walks into the room with tired eyes as they flop down on the bed with a 'thud'. Melchior rubs his head on their back and leaves it there, MC peaks their head up to look up at me. They give me a slight closed eyed smile, I give one in return. "You seem exasperated love" I speak in an hushed whisper while petting Mercedes. "It's been a long day and now that Asra is gone it's hard running it all on my own" they say while running their hands down their face. They sit up in the bed and start petting Melchior who is still laying on their stomach. I give a beaming smile at the cute sight, then I get a fantastic idea. "Hey I have a great idea let's go outside and play with Melchior and Mercedes, it will help get rid of your stress" I say with a hopeful look on my face. Then think for a moment before saying "sure yeah, let's go." They say while standing and walking out the door. Mercedes and Melchior follow them out but not before I grab a ball to throw.
           I finally get outside and see MC running around with Melchior and Mercedes. "Catch" I say while throwing the ball towards MC. They catch the ball and throw it towards the woods. The crazy dogs run at the ball and Mercedes reaches the destination before Melchior. MC walks up to me and says "there so cute." I get a sheepish smile and respond with "they aren't the only cute things here." They get an adorable red blush before jokingly punching me in the arm. They mumble a "shut it" before Mercedes reaches us and drops the ball at my feet. I pick up the ball and tease the dogs with it by waving it in front of their faces, before throwing it towards the woods once more. They dash off again and this time I follow them. "I'll get it before you" I tease while running along side Melchior. I hear MC's beautiful laugh fading into the distance. Mercedes gets the ball again, Melchior runs up to her and starts trying to get the ball. The wrestle for a while before Melchior finally succeeds at getting the ball from Mercedes. They start running towards MC and dropping the ball before them expecting another throw.
        We spend hours like this, playing with the dogs and spending time with MC. We eventually all get tired and I say "let's all go inside and get some rest, I just hope your stress is gone." "Yeah I'm feeling better, thanks for letting me play with the dogs" they say while giving me an adorable smile. "Anytime" I say while opening the door to the shop. "Now lets get you to bed" I respond by rubbing MC's shoulders. "I love you" they say while making sure Melchior and Mercedes make it through the door. "I love you more dear."
