Kao: Undeniably

"He's not here again. Kao's at P'New coffee shop again and Earth nowhere to be found for almost a week already.

"P'New where's Earth?", I can't help bit to ask. P'New looks at me before answering "Sick" then give me an address.

Lately, I've been thinking of him. His sad eyes. His broken smile.

That beautiful yet with a broken smile always occupies his mind that's why Kao decided to visits him. I knock twice and Earth himself opens the door. He is looking at me with wide eyes and open mouth. Kao find him cute.

I give the basket of fruits to him. He lets me in and I saw two pairs of house slippers and notice the couple mug in the table. Is he with someone? A girlfriend or lover, maybe? I felt bad thinking about it. I noticed an album and curiosity pick up the ring on the table when a juice is place in front of me.

I look at Earth and notice that the shirt his wearing is too big for him. Almost the same size as mine. I also noticed the necklace his wearing, a ring is use as pendant. Same the one that I'm holding.

"How did you find my home?", Earth asks.

"P'New, he said you are sick. I want to say sorry if I upset you or something. Probably, you find me rude because I never thank you instead ask you those questions. I hope you undertand, I just want to know what's missing", that's my answer to him.

Kao saw Earth froze, tears suddenly falling from his eyes. "I understand you but could you leave me alone?", his voice trembles.

There's a sudden pain in my head. Those words are familiar.

Seeing him crying makes me weak. What's happening?

I stand and leave Earth's place. I'm already outside the building when I noticed that I'm still holding the ring. I go back and plan to knock when I heard something that brokes my heart.

I heard Earth's sobs and he keep saying the words "I miss you" and "I love you". I look into the ring. I guess, I'll return it tomorrow.

That night Kao keep tossing and restless on his bed. The sobs. His eyes. I don't want to see him sad specially crying. Seeing him cry makes me want to hug him tightly, kiss him senseless, comfort him and make sure nobody can hurt him. I want to see Earth smile, his real smile. I want the angel to feel love.

Suddenly, Kao's heart beats faster realising what he said on his mind. Sleeps calling him but before falling asleep completely he smile, accepting the fact that he is undeniably fall in love with that beautiful person with a broken smile already.
